Prolly gonna be alone. What better way to vision quest?

Thinking about flying into Denver and catching a show at Red Rocks too.

I gotta get a dog for this, don't I? I mean it just seems like it would be way more elite that way.

Dude, you can take a train from Denver to like Grand Junction. (Pretty sure it goes farther but I've never ridden it passed GJ.)  Its a damn pretty ride.

I've been through Wyoming a couple times on trips to Yellowstone.

First off, Wyoming is not fun to drive through to get to a destination. It's very flat and very windy. But, it's great for just cruising. Jackson and Yellowstone are a must. Crazy stuff you'll never see anywhere else. Very minimum in Yellowstone is 3 days, IMO. Check out both loops, not just the bottom.

As for other towns in WY, driving through Thermopolis is awesome. Crazy land formations. Cody is nothing great, but an ok place to stop and grab lunch. Everywhere else is only good for getting gas. That said, I would absolutely love to own a ranch anywhere in WY and just live out in the middle of nowhere.

Let me know if you need any other info or tips in Yellowstone.

It can be a thousand different emotions.  Everything from achievement, despair, exhaustion, hope, elation, graditude, and exhileration.  The foundation is that they're great times with the best of friends.  I could write a book on it and I think about it every day.  I get that not everyone would understand or appreciate it.  But that's the rub for me....I wouldn't want to spend that time with people that didn't "get it."

Dauber played a cop briefly in Weeds. He's not looking so hot these days.
