You have to dig a little deeper. Although Memphis may be a Top 7 market for ESPN college football broadcasts, the viewership for University of Memphis games is the important metric to consider. If a particular school doesn't effectively "deliver" its market, the impact on value to a network partner is minimal - they have to be able to sell the ads. I would suspect that this number reflects viewership of various SEC games more than it reflects viewership of Memphis' football games.

According to my research, it checks out, just in a different order:

University of Texas - $20B
University of Kansas - $1.83B

This is a great example of what can happen when a school decides to stockpile whatever money it makes and just let all its buildings/facilities/reputation decay in the meantime.

Cost of attendance passed something like 79-1, and that made me wonder if the one was Wake.

I've talked about this idea in the past, and I love it.  Makes perfect sense for both schools.

The other similar idea is to schedule TWO Non-Con games (home and away) with the same team.  But, this works better in Basketball.  I'd love to play Mizzou twice in basketball every year.

I'm still holding out hope for a "Holiday Tournament" at the sprint center featuring KSU/MU every year. Throw in some old Big 8 teams like CU/NU or maybe some local mid majors like Creighton/WSU.
