Did You Know: This is the 200th week overall KSU has been ranked in the AP Poll.  That's good for 40th in the nation, between Georgia Tech and Stanford.

meanwhile, what a goddam idiot:

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/2579/south-carolina-gamecocks

It was always going to take some time there, but that Florida loss was rough ridin' awful.

The double digit loss to Mark Fox at home would have been worse for me.

lol, what an idiot

Holy crap kenpom hates us. What's his deal?

He stuck up for us early in the season until we got beaten by Michigan and Gonzaga. He's probably just butthurt we didn't play well when he wanted us to.

Ku loses to two unranked teams in a wk, three loses in a row, and they drop like 8 spots?  Wtf?

Any other team would be out.

You have to consider how many other top 25 teams lost in the last week as well.  Teams were getting beat all over the place.  I did actually think they would be lower though.

#13, though?

also, rankings is all about what have you done lately, not as much about big picture.

It was one of the craziest weeks ever in Top 25 basketball.

14 AP Top 25 teams lost at least once last week. 8 losses for 6 Top 10 teams. 6 lost on Saturday, including 2 in the Top 5.

I heard somewhere this weekend that those 14 losses were the most in a week by Top 25 teams since 1949.

I'm assuming sarcasm.

Has anybody else in America played 3 top 10 teams?  I'm assuming a few big 10 schools have, but the list has got to be pretty small.

If I am looking at his rankings correctly, KSU is 11th based on conference play alone, up from 22 for the whole season.  I would love this more if we weren't behind CSU at 10 and Wisky at 5 in the conference only ranking.

Our schedule would be much better had we scheduled better midmajors. The good teams we have played are fine, but there is no reason at all to ever schedule some of the crappy teams we have played.
