Two things I am certain of:
1) the chiefs are white trash
2) maholmes has a rough ridin' rifle for an arm

I'm just helping you write your book. You brought up NFL mobility in this thread, but hate Alex. You get pissed they never draft a QB in the first Round and now here you are getting butthurt. Never change bipolarsonofdax. Keep getting mad on a beautiful April night. Stay beautiful son (ofdaxjonesweirdo)

The guy isn't worth giving up a first round pick.

TT QB track record in the NFL from the Leach spread system is white hot garbage.

Do you realize how dumb you sound blabbering about past TT QBs?

Lol at basing the merits of a pick on a school's history at that position rather than the individual traits and play/tape.  Doesn't get much stupider than that.  That said, I dislike the pick.

But none of Leach's QBs have ever worked out in the NFL...
I must be missing something.  He'd been gone for 5 years before mahomes got there...and yes dax its still incredibly stupid based on any system.  Teams focus on the football iq, mechanics, footwork, placement, etc, not the system they ran.  It might be a small footnote but a team would have to be really really stupid to make that even a top 20 factor in making the pick.  I dislike mahomes because of his footwork and recklessneck, who gives a eff what system he ran?  The quality of competition hardly matters either because the NFL is a massive massive jump in talent

can't have it both ways
about 20 pages ago or something i posted how the chiefs are scared to draft a qb since every time they did the qb sucked assballs

no matter what happens with mahomes at least the chiefs tried.  i really wanted watson tho but i think that's because of his college career and his character not his nfl ability.  i don't know anything about mahomes except texas tech

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Lol, thanks Captain Obvious for the Football 001 talking points.

Plus, don't give me this bullshit about the quality of competition "hardly mattering".  On ESPN radio tonight Pouluan (sp?) did a whole riff on how they often went back to the December draft board of which much was derived on what they scouted in actual games.

Lol at you guys now trying to water down a system talking point that's been around for 30 plus years in regards to the draft.

You can't fap it about mobility when a guy is busting runs against a defense playing its 78th snap from scrimmage.

No one GAF about his mobility, we are fapping it to the howitzer attached  to his shoulder.

Yep 9.2 yards per attempt avg. A cannon #rolleyes.

Oh and his mobility has been mentioned several times. Read!

Because he's hitting wide open guys against tired defenses or teams that don't give a eff (Baylor).   Oh wow, a cross body throw with no one within 5 yards of him, downfield to a receiver with no one within 20 yards.  Who cares?

Yep and bill polian also thought Landry jones was a future star.  Quit being a dumbass dax.  Quality of competition does not matter.  Corey davis was a top 5 pick, randy moss went to marshall, etc.  Players picked in the first from alabama are just as likely to bust as someone picked in the first from some fcs school from bumfuck, nowhere.  You should base your analysis on the individual, not the pedigree of the past QBs from that school because that makes you look really dumb.  If you want to freak out, freak out about his decision making or footwork in the pocket, not "oh golly he's an air raid QB automatic failure!"

I like taking a QB before we're forced to play him. Mahomes definitely needs work but is very talented. In the KSU game and a few minutes of others that I watched, he showed ridiculous arm strength and great touch. Beating out Mayfield, Brewer, and Webb is impressive too.

Here's why the Chief's Chiefed MoCameroHead.

They gave up a 2, a 3 and then a 1 for a guy they already admit is a project.

Laser rocket arm (throwing to wide open WR's against tired, bend don't break defenses), terrible mechanics, terrible footwork.

He isn't carrying a clipboard for a hall of fame Super Bowl winner ala Bret Farve. He's learning under Captain Checkdown, the game manager, Alex Smith.

You gave up all that to a guy you're already admitting can't beat out Alex Smith.
