Is Kenny Mayne still employed? I never see him on ESPN anymore.  Remember when he used to say "and it looks like he's hit it over some fencing they've set up in the outfield"?  I loved that.

I think so.  Once a month I'll see them advertise some wacky segment with him and I'll smile.

His sister was my boss a few years back. Sad to see.
doesn't he live in Hawaii?  Maybe the worst place in the world to live where you need to watch thousands of hours of video a year for your job imo

He's usually on super late at night and I'm 90% sure he's trashed every time he's on

I just listened to Fitz's podcast and he had the brownest of brown takes. Every bad opinion you can think of he hit, including trashing The 6. The funny part to me was him ranting about ESPN overpaying for rights fees because of arrogance, then he punctuated the rant by saying, without irony, "I just watch ESPN for the games."

Yeah, his whole family is from KC tho. He also works as a professor there. He'll be fine.

A very interesting article. Many personnel that stayed at ESPN had agreed to massive pay cuts in order to keep their jobs. Some of those who were let go had as many as 5 years remaining on their contracts and will be paid in full.

The Ryen Russillo radio show opening segment yesterday was also very good. He thought he was being let go, not Kanell. Had been looking for jobs and homes in LA the past few weeks.

The last Sports Reporters was aired this morning.  Didn't realize that was part of the cuts?

It wasn't part of the cuts, it was just canceled, they announced it months ago. It is being replaced with a reboot of E60.

Interesting that repubs were back on the uptick until they fired racist POS Schilling.

It's pretty apparent that the Jenner thing didn't have a lasting effect, but Schilling getting fired was a HUGE no-no. Eye roll all you want, but you're the one that posted the graph.

It apparently did for the transphobic democrats

There are two noticeable and unexplained upticks on that chart, 1) just after Oct 15, 2) just after Oct 16. I wonder what those were?
