UK, Carolina, Duke, and Shockers could all make the case.

Teams I'm also watching include:
Gonzaga: Lots of hate nationally that they shouldn't be a #1 seed.  Lots of doubt they'll make it very far.

FSU: For a long time I felt like their coach wasn't far off Wooly.  Somehow managed a big win to save his job.  Interesting to see them trending up the last few years.

Thanks for the stats.  You can kinda see what I'm getting at a bit with the first years of his tenure at FSU.  Imagine if Wooly had a 9-7 season in his 4th year with an NIT win or two!

he's gotten better looking with age.  that salt&pepper (heavy on the salt) close crop looks great on him.  he dresses better now too.  i guess they have tailors in south carolina.

leonard has always recruited well, he brought in Byron Houston to OSU iirc.  Lately he has beaten the blue bloods for 5 stars, right?

Coal Aggie with a good win.  Huggins asked what he is going to do to celebrate his win: "I'm gonna go recruit."  Oscar running him to cut his own rough ridin' lawn.  Winners, man.

I guess Xavier is the 11 that gets to move on this year.  I'm glad for them.  I like their coach as well.

I kinda like the sloppy. They look like they've moved to the wrong side of the tracks and are training to fight Clubber Lang.

i don't like the taping your shoulders thing.  i think i used to, about five years ago, but now i don't.  i also don't like the leggings under shorts, if they end at the calf.  if they go to the ankle i don't mind much.

It is hard to consider some of the schools in that conference as mid-majors.  I find myself pulling for Xavier often.  I was at one time a St. X Ram.
