I can’t tell if your back and forth banter is high level satire or not, but at this point I’m too afraid to ask.

In a few years, if there's a new top-tier-$$$ division, what's stopping someone from creating a 'university' in a highly populated area, with the money and resources to literally just build and buy a team.

If anything, it could make for a funny movie.  Think "Old School", but with college football.

I just hope he doesn't have to end up at Nebraska. Think that would not end well.

Wherever Will goes, I hope he's coached well and has the receivers needed to throw like he does.

Both Oklahoma schools played like absolute garbage today.  There's still hope.  Who knows, maybe TTU can upset Texas?

They have to clarify now because schools & journalists are asking.

This is the biggest part I don't get about the whole story. The tiebreaker rule isn't vague at all. It clearly says if the tied teams haven't all played each other then you go to the next step. What would have prompted the questions in the first place?
Okie Lite getting screwed over because if it was the H2H format they are at the top.
I get that, but that has nothing to do with the clarity of the rule. The question would be more like “hey are you guys thinking of changing this cause it doesn’t seem very fair.”

The extra comma is weird but inconsequential. There isn’t a way to read the rule where the comma changes the meaning.

I did not go to law school to know how consequential a comma can be.

After OSU’s mind-boggling meltdown against UCF, lots of media outlets are saying KSU can make it to the Pepper with an ISU win over UT.  That would be so sweet.  Come on Cyclone bros, bring the hate.

Thanks for this!  I'm using the linkwfs... i love how there are no commercials.  And the cameras are picking up the ambience of the stadium, showing the band, the students.... it's like I'm there.  Thanks!

I don't understand Tennant's kicking ability.  Can't kick a decent PAT for anything.

I mean… I think that means we’re not going to defend the championship this year.  BUT we had 2 conference losses last year and somehow managed to win a rematch against TCU.  I would love a rematch against UT.  Stranger things have happened in the BigXII…

I'll be at the pub with my son eating cheese-curds and brauts (I live in Wisconsin now), watching UT getting oUTed as being fake and gay.
Which part, and which pub? Once upon a time I lived off of North avenue in Wauwatosa and favored Leff’s and Walter’s on North.

I live in Appleton.  There's a decent sports pub that opens at 11AM on Saturday on Northland Ave.

Almost everyone is hating on this new schedule talking about "pods".  I get the concept of pods, but can someone ELI5 why pods are a bad idea?

Personally, I hate divisions, and I think pods are just mini-versions of divisions.  And I love how the old BXII had everybody play everybody... so I think this new schedule is kind of like that with protected 'rivalries'?

I'd move UCF up next to Texas. Probably move OSU down.
I didn’t watch UCF, were they pretty good?

We'll find out in a couple of weeks.

So, not much then.  At least the BigXII hasn’t changed!  It’s good to see that OU and Texas are still around.

Klieman is a clock management god. I have zero doubt in this coaching staff now moving forward. :emawkid:

OU got clock blocked!

We can make it up to them by winning 10.

Actually us winning out and playing them in the Dr. Pepper would be the best chance for them to be in the CFP.  Of course, they would need to beat us!  :billdance:

Oh my gosh.  Could you imagine if we beat OU AGAIN?!  I don't know if I'd ever come down from Cloud 9.
