The Big Chill (1983) - 5/7
p amaze cast, with TLB versions of kline, hurt, goldblum, berenger, close, poltergeist mom, and a great kasdan script. do not watch if you're one of those people that complains about movies where "nothing happens".

Valerian and the City of 1000 Planets. The first 40 minutes are delightfully bizarre. Feels just like a sequel to Fifth Element. Def set in the same universe. The rest of the movie, starting with arrival at Alpha, is a bit too talky and meandering, but still has some funny moments and great action sequences.

Overall, it's not as good of a story or movie as Fifth Element, but the closest you'll get to a sequel. Hope Luc Besson keeps making movies like this.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I know they have different source material, but it's the same exact look and feel from the same director. The market and feast scenes were terrific. Worth a watch just for that.

I assume it was some sort of multi-picture contract requirement. That happens a lot.

I think that one was just him wanting to make a crap pile of money in China now, and for a long time to come.

There were rumors of that having a spinoff movie about Alien with Franco onboard.

War for the Planet of the Apes. 93% on RottenTomatoes. I would give it one thumb down.

Coco movie in the theaters. 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!

But before it starts, there is a 21-minute Frozen cartoon. I left to make sure I was in correct theater and another guy was doing the same thing.

I thought War for the Planet of the Apes kind of sucked, too. I really don't get how it did so well with critics.

It is a sentimental movie that is why it did so well

Justice League.

Fun. Entertaining.

CGI was crap for the bad guy. It's 2017, man.

Loved The Flash and his immaturity.

Also, Ben Affleck got fat.

suicide squad- sucked.  force fed stupidity and the reason why i’d rather rewatch a movie from the 70’s/80’s rather than waste however much time it took me to fall asleep during this pos movie

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
