as the article discusses, most of these deadlines seem to be kind of fake, so it matters less than it might seem if they can finalize before the end of the month, but hopefully they're able to get it done.

this is good sarcasm, but i think everyone pointing out that basically everything good in new nafta that isn't the same as old nafta was already in tpp slightly misses the mark.  clinton was against tpp too.  yes, canada and mexico had agreed to tpp, but the united states hadn't and wasn't going to.

Clinton was for tpp until Bernie supporters forced her to abandon that position. I had hope she might still try to stick with it if elected.

No way this is true, I was told by the man himself this is a completely new deal

The Trump administration's new trade deal with Canada and Mexico leaves much of the old North American Free Trade Agreement intact.

https://www.businesslive.co.za/bd/world/asia/2018-10-17-china-new-loans-rebound-but-overall-credit-conditions-stay-tight/

China’s new bank loans rebounded in September after dipping in the two previous months, central bank data showed, but overall credit conditions stayed tight in an economy chilled by an ongoing tariff war with the US.

Glad to know that my having to pay more for everything is really sticking it to the Chinese right now.

Chinese housing bubble, tightening credit, automobile sector all struggling right now.

U.S. wages going up, worries about inflation, 7.1 million open jobs, steel workers getting a 14% pay raise . . . just in time for LibBot Nation to co-opt all of it, per usual.   Forgetting the "new normal" forecasts during their guy's administration.
