i buy almost everything Fleck is selling in the world, besides this. There were far more schools than 8 Fleck would have left for, and if there was a list of 8, no way Minnesota was on it.

I would guess some of those schools might have been on the list too, I think he probably had a couple big schools on there, but also schools from close to where he's from, like Illinois. I'm guessing he views Illinois similar to how he views Minnesota.

I haven't taken a deep dive into this but it seems like Minnesota devotes more resources to football than Illinois, it certainly isn't nearly the rebuilding job. Kill and Claeys did a fantastic job of making that job more than respectable.

The Gophers had already broken ground on one of the larger indoor practice facilities in the nation, an Athlete's Village that includes brand new offices for the football coaches, built a brand new football stadium within the last 8 years.

And I'm sure if Claeys or Kill watched that they didn't like it much.
