All-Purpose pro wrestling thread.

Hall of Famer.

WWE voters got it right tonight. A victory not only for the Warrior, but for steroid users everywhere.

the rock would whip his candy ass.

The Rock is not on anywhere near the amount of steroids, which puts him at a disadvantage. Look man, Mike Trout is a fine baseball player. But 2001 Barry Bonds would make him look like a goon. The same goes for Warrior and Rocky.

The common theme here, of course, is the unabashed use of anabolic steroids. They make you better at everything.

jake the snake

Jake was out last week on Raw. He looked ... healthy, which shocked me.

when i was in college (kansas state university) jake the snake was in some indy wrestling thing that wrestled in some gym on ft riley. some friends of mine brought a mini tape recorder and acted like they were reporters from the collegian and then just asked him questions that they wanted answers to back stage for like half an hour.

The fact that this didn't exist already kind of shocked me.

What would everyones finishing move be?!
I think mine would be a power bomb and for submissions it would be the sharpshooter

I always imagined myself as a clergy-themed wrestler.

My finishing move would be called "The Baptism." I'm not sure what that move is exactly. I go back and forth. Right now it's some sort of fall-away slam off the second turnbuckle.

When smackdown came to topeka a few years back Frank had acquired front row seats to go. He couldn't make it and gave the tickets to my boss at the time. A younger Metalhead got to high five The Big Show that night.

Wait just a minute here. You've obviously forgotten about this guy:

Nothing better than when he'd come in and say "cut the music" and tell all of the "fat slobs" in the crowd to shut up while he "showed their ladies what a real man looks like."

He and Mr. Perfect were the ideal heels.

if it ain't the mid 90s, then i don't really care about wrestling all that much.

for my money, it never got better than wcw vs. nwo.  best rivalry in sports history.
