I was told yesterday that they agreed to make it the most ADA compliant airport in the world.  Not sure if that was in the news or not.  If it was not, my source is A+.  I also have no idea how they measure that.

i can see it now.
the brain trust downtown sitting in a dimly lit and smokey conference room in the basement of city hall, it's late- maybe 2 am when all of the sudden it hit them.  "ada", "let's make this bitch the most ada complaint airport in the world, damn the cost and schedule"

"...nobody will be able to be mad at us, because then they will be insulting the disabled!"

Heather Hall *twisting hair* "but will there be police men there?"

Slyin' *rolls eyes* - "yes heather, your husband can work there off duty"

HH *smacks gum* - "yeahhhh!"

Quinton Lucas - "I'd like to promulgate the ideology that not withstanding all peoples, the ADA compliant airport should exceed MBE/WBE percentages, as claimed in Steve Dave vs. State of Nebraska"

Slyin' - "Quinton, we get it, you're a lawyer"

QL - "AND teach and KU"

Canady - says something crazy and non-sequitur

Jolie - "but we can ride bikes there right?  Why can't we build this downtown?"

Scott Taylor - "vote for me for mayor!"

....i'll finish this up later.

I still can't believe highways are racist.  That's hard to comprehend.

this is a very good start

i just can't imagine the impetus to go this route given all of the other challenges that they have in front of them but regardless, MLK can kick rocks, the ada airport should be renamed after Christoper Reeve or something

Is there such thing as "most compliant?"  Isn't something either compliant or not?

Jolie out of the mayor's race but should be a lock for reelection in the 4th district.

Kander kind of seems like a lock now....not sure how I feel about that.

He's also a potential democrat star wasting away doing nothing in red Missouri except for tweeting hot takes and going on tv. It's probably a national DNC decision to get him some political resume points. I wouldn't expect him to complete 2 terms.

I'd agree even though he said he would run for a second term today in his announcement.

ya no clue what the appeal of the kcmo’s mayor’s office is but the dnc telling him to sit there for a second makes sense

If he loses to say a Quinton Lucas that would look pretty bad.

ours has some special challenges that decrease its value imo

Doesn't appear so with all these well qualified candidates jockeying for it.

I know that doesn't fit your talking points about how bad KC is.
