Yeah - a decent pharah can dominate games up until about low plat (or at least that was the case a year ago, when i stopped playing). My teams kept getting run by decent pharah players so i decided "if you can't beat'em, join'em."

I got to be pretty proficient with her. I tried to watch a lot of the badass pharahs on youtube and then just grinded with her in QP and got to the point where I was comfortable starting a smurf for competitive where i instalocked her. I think she got me to like 2950, which is when i got bored of chasing diamond with her and moved to sombra (where I didn't have anywhere near the same success).

It really is all about the map and team comp. There are ways to counter Pharah to make her useless, but if you are single queuing there is no guaranteeing anyone will build to counter her. I'd put Sombra in the same category of tried and found zero success with characters. I don't seem to have the patience to grind up on some of the characters when I can have funning playing pretty much any of the rest. Do you play on PC?

paking last night, probably a 7.1, playing some o-dubs. barf on my elite controller, all over it. that’s ok though, I have another one. yikes though, it barely works because I spilled a bottle of champagne on it last winter. never fret, I have a big bottle of 98 percent alcohol that I use to clean my pipes with so I put them together inside a freezer bag.

life has a fun way of working itself out

update- after putting the controllers in the bag with the rubbing alcohol but are functioning at 100%

the pipes are made of blown glass and are used in the ingestion of thc laced marijuana

I think i've only played my PS4 like 4 times since purchasing it. There's legit no games I have that get me excited and I have no idea wtf is going on in fortnite. I get yelled at constantly. Anyways, I keep seeing ppl with throwback nintendoes and playing mario and it makes me sad because I want it. Are they still selling those things?

I have an old Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Wii, PS2 & PS3. I touch the PS3 about once every years for some God of War and a few games of NCAA FB, NHL & FIFA. The rest of the year I cycle through about 20 games between the Nintendo, Sega, PS2 & Wii VC. About once a week I still put NCAA06 baseball in the PS2, turn on some music & play the hitting mini game for an hour.

Thanks bud. If they’d just get back NCAA football, it would have totally been worth the purchase. Just hate leaving my wife upstairs for while for shitty games I don’t care about. Even Madden sucks.

I got really into Moira for a few days, but I am not great with her. Back to Pharah/Rein. Jumped 236 SR since placing this season. Up to 2703 now.

Are you on a console or pc?

I agree that there is a quick learning curve. One of the things I love about OW is that you don't have to remember more than a handful of things for each character. Which characters are you gravitating towards?

I just started playing a lot of Mercy last night. Because of the team comps in bronze it amplifies the opportunity for victory by quite a lot. And once you get the hang of her it can be really fun.
