Wild year boys. And beating Alabama as a consolation prize? Let's go.

@MakeItRain I agree 100% there is a vanity process going on here. When the dust settles from this latest round of chaos I'm sure some intrepid reporter will write another fluff piece for old white bros to retcon a sound reasoning blaming everyone else and not their egos.Holy crap no wonder that Col. Sanders looking idiot is so mad about this. He literally wrote a jackoff book about Texas A&M going.

SEC replay crew.Refs or replay? I thought it was the other way around.

It was a no-brainer to pick Utah? The year before Alabama went 7-5 and lost to UL-MONROE! They hadn't even played in an NC yet for over 20 years.Yeah, I agree, 'blast. However, the '98 cats kinda make me feel like it could be a thing. That was a great win for OU tho.
i mean i guess, being demoted to the Sugar Bowl is not the same as being demoted to the Alamo Bowl
While I wholeheartedly agree with you here, the point is that when the dream/goal all season was the BCS championship, a certain level of disappointment in NOT playing for the crystal football is to be expected. Thus, the level of focus/motivation across the entirety of the team decreases.
I remain firmly of the belief that had the OU vs Bama game been the BCS title game that Bama likely covers the 14 pt spread. As it was, playing OU +14 was a no-brainer... Just like it was a no brainer to play Utah plus 14 vs Bama in the '09 Sugar that the Utes won 31-17. I think we all saw what Bama did to a Notre Dame team that won in Norman when it was for a crystal football.
Or it's the SEC copout excuse for losing bowl games and you are helping them! Wtf man99% of the time questioning a team's effort or motivation is stupid
This is a false statement. Motivation is situational, therefore it's reasonable to actually be able to forecast "motivation" in many situations.
As proof, you'll hear coaches allude to it in press conferences fairly often.
Thanks for playing.
Pretty cool, thanks Boondock.
Hope you guys pin Texas down this weekend and put your knees on their biceps and then spit in their mouths.
