open air booze deck looks pretty cool.  at first wasn't sure about keeping the hill they have, but the green space is kind of nice and pretty unique for a closed in stade.

relax, dax will clear this all up

the list is quite impressive when you ignore asbury/wooly

4
incredible stuff greg, hadn't thought of that

5
what do professional sports exist for?

6
for me it started moving the match to arrowhead, it was an apparent money grab from the beginning.  then it was the whole week leading up glazing the crap out of the opponent.  again, trying to sell more tickets.  our off season business was losing one of our better attacking players in Kinda, and resigning Pulido who again was a complete no-show in this match.

hope the intervention starts before it's too late

good stuff MIR, completely agree.  was at the game, sitting lower level 50 yard line, fun atmosphere.  Thommy was the player of the match, Messi was Messi, but spending the amount of time/money i do for this club, the week long Messi crap really put a bad taste in my mouth, and only solidified my hate for Jake Reid and the folks running this club.

yeah would love to take my daughter to a spurs game, but probably not until she's older, soccer culture is so much different over there.  sporting games is like 50/50 men/women and about 20% or so are kids, the only kids you see at premier league matches are the ones flipping off and cussing at the cameras.

went to Hayward's on 75th for the first time a week ago, burnt ends were pretty good, as were the ribs.  In the old Kite's location.

anyone have a Z-Grill?  looking at the 7002C2E backyard warrior, seems to have pretty good reviews.  they do sell a griddle top for it for $65

key is to find the kids with the parents that are fun to be around, and essentially make your kids be friends with their kids.  basically instead of a kid play date (hated typing that) you organize an adult hang out, and the kids naturally get to play with each other.
^bingo. trouble is all my friends that meet that criteria either don't have kids, or their kids are nowhere close to mine's age, or they live like a thousand miles away. sure i (a middle aged man) could go actively seeking out new friends but what am i some kind of psychopath?

key for myself is youth sports.  instantly have a bunch of kids that are your kids exact same age!  pick out the parents that seem cool, talk with them during a practice or game.  they seem cool, YOU ARE IN!

my experience with a pellet (traeger) is they don't get hot enough so would think a griddle top wouldn't work on a pellet

21
is a cast iron griddle a PITA for cleanup?  looks like the blackstone griddles make cleanup with all the grease fairly easy but maybe no different

22
needing a new outdoor grill.  was thinking about a pellet grill which i've used before, very easy and versatile, but keep seeing these blackstone/weber flat top smash burgers and breakfast stuff, and the possibilities of making totally unhealthy greasy stuff looks like fun.  maybe a blackstone and then a cheaper propane grill for when i just want to grill, but then think i'd miss out on wanting to smoke ribs or a pork butt.  what are the best solutions to get grilling/smoking/flat top cooking without having to buy 3 different units?
