i'm gonna cancel my CSP and sign up for my 2nd Reserve late this year.  Do i have to wait and sign up 2 years after i received my first bonus or can i sign up before that as long as the bonus doesn't hit until 2 years after the first one?

a bonus won't get triggered if you sign up before the 24mo mark.

WTF is up with AA availability when trying to use Avios on BA's site? It's been all mumped up for weeks now. People who use avios, is this normal?

I got mushed on the CSP, I apparently had one less than 24 months ago.  I guess i have to slum it with something else.

If you are going to keep the Ink card but want to cancel the CSP to get the CSR, can you just transfer your points to the Ink UR account and then cancel the CSP?

like there is saver space on AA and it doesn't show up on BA? you'll have to call them to book if so. usually it shows up. assume you know it has to be saver space though.

So, called BA, they said it's an ongoing technical issue, they have no idea when it will be fixed, and that they can't access the seat inventory either, so they can't book it for you on their end. This is my first experience with Avios, and it's not going great so far. On the plus side, the lady with the British accent on the telephone was very nice. Her name was Loraine.

wow, that is terrible. I've booked a ton with them on AA. good luck. don't be afraid to call back and force the issue. they can book you. they just don't want to very badly. also if they cancel you for some reason I've had good luck getting to choose my flight non-saver.

So, I'm pretty sure they just can't access their AA inventory for some unknown reason. I was reasonably forceful on the phone, talked to a few different people, and no matter how far up the ladder I got the answer was the same. I tried to get them to admit that there was a way that they could put me on a flight if they really wanted to, and the person I was speaking with said that they hadn't been able to book anybody in over two weeks. So, it's possible they're really dedicated liars, but I think something is actually really mumped up with their system right now.

if i remember correctly, and it's entirely possible that i don't, i had to drop my downpayment with a debit card at the dealership.

I was able to put my down payment on a credit card, however the particular dealership said there was a max of 5k for the credit card transaction, so I did pay the rest of the down payment with a check.

Marriotts new combined program is actually really good but there’s no way I can make lifetime platinum before end of year :(

I’d have to do eight cards between me and the wife in eight months and probably have to MS on a bunch of them (I have the nights for lifetime plat but I’m 900k points away). And I’d have to xfer 200k in UR which would be a dumb use of it

Also it was a left over model so I was getting a really good deal on it.

At some point in the next year, I plan on buying a Ranger Crew and will be using a credit card.  Not gonna miss out on those points.
