Man, I actually kind of like the 'Yotes. They just don't have the guns to keep up in the West.

If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

We're good enough to make the playoffs if Mike Smith pulls his head out of his ass. The Blues are sick, but last night was an embarrassment.

feel the same way about the stars and theyre playoff chances. no way are they going to beat chicago and stl, but nashville wtf? also minnesota hanging back there. looking like a 6-8 seed at best.

The Central is absolutely ridiculous this year. Winnipeg is the only team that doesn't really have a chance and they're not a pushover.

Not NHL but saw a glass shattering in person for the first time last night. Happened a couple sections over from me, pretty crazy sight.

Here's the video

I just bet my Colorado friend $100 on the Avalanche NOT winning a Stanley Cup in the next 5 seasons.

Good one for a first game, IMO. I hate Blackhawk fans, but there's no denying that's an electric atmosphere and any time 2 original 6 teams get together it can be a fun time.

yes, super gross teams, the grossest, but it will absolutely be a good time. It's tonight's matchup on NBC Sports Network's Wednesday Night Rivalry.

MIR, am I remembering right that you are a Phoenix fan? If so, may I ask why? Other than the distant Jets history, it seems like an odd team to root for

It pretty much goes back to being a Winnipeg Jets fan when they had Keith Tkachuk, Teemu Selanne, and Shane Doan. My first NHL game was their first year in Phoenix, December of 1996 against Vancouver, two days before the Cotton Bowl against BYU.

I still have this jersey
