looks like a stud shooter, definitely want.

i hope his stats aren't skewed by playing for such a shitty team that most of his minutes the game was basically already decided.

I'd rather have that than below average for a bad team (Smith), average for a decent team (Moyer), or decent but not efficient for a bad small school (Tarke).

Good grief, was he the only player to score against Virginia?

So Stewart would have to sit out a year then have 3 to play?

Doesn't mind shooting with a hand in his face and looks to have pretty good range a step or two beyond the line.  His release looks really slow but he still gets it up so :dunno:

Stewart would be a very good pick up, his defense could use some work from what i had seen.

oscar met with this dude this morning

https://twitter.com/_PSTEW/status/982329748037799936

This has moved to my top pick with our remaining scholarships. I hope oscar's buddy Kevin can help us out with this one.

Against kenpom Top 50 he played 75% minutes, 1.15 orating, 41% from 3 on 6.8 attempts per game.

Yeah, I like him better than Moyer or Tarke as well.

High volume 3pt shooter. 75% of his shots in ACC were behind the arc, but making over 40% vs ACC and over 40% vs Top 50 competition is very appealing

Lots of good things on the recruiting front right now.  Moyer to be in this week end for a visit.  Either Stewart or Tarke would be great transfers to pick up.

We won't win all of these battles and maybe even lose all of them but it is great to be in competition for guys like this that are not 5 star talent but players who will be here for more than one year and all have great potential.

And if we strike out on these transferrs there is still a lot of good targets for the fall signing period that the staff is working on.  Weber has Frazier, Lowrey and Korn and all have some experience now and seem to connect well with recruits.

From Pittsburgh Post Gazette online:
"The status of Stewart was up in the air since Stallings was dismissed March 8, but he attended Capel’s first news conference last Wednesday along with the rest of the team. His father, Anthony, who’s the head coach at Division I Tennessee-Martin, released a vague statement the next day essentially reiterating that his son was still on the fence."

Apparently Anthony dad coach under Lowery at SIU.

As has been mentioned, the only player I'll be really sad to miss on is Stewart.  I'd take a decent recruit over the rest of the transfers. I think we need to even out classes some more.  Tarke's numbers look a lot like Hopper who was fine but I'm not really worried.
