2 hours till I head downtown...

The amount of Royals fans last night was fantastic, and I high-fived Hud! :D
I'll bet Hud is a pretty great high-five. If you see him tonight, try the double high-five.

Looks like July 21st was the worst point of the season for the Royals. Looking back, not a lot of posters here were being very Royal at the time. Except for Kim Carnes, of course.

we're fine

which happens to be the last time he was

1. I think you should go for the chest bump if the opportunity presents itself.
2. They were kind of making fun of the ball kid last night; kid looked 10 or so, and Hud was using a pretty little kid voice to rehash their convo. Like maybe how a 4-5 yr old would have responded, both in responses and voice.  So Ryan was all; so you're saying the kid hasn't gone through puberty.  :frown:

Mlb.tv premium reduced to 25 bucks for the rest of the year. Usually its 25 a month so get a few extra days of scoreboard watching.

as long as we don't see those teams in the playoffs we are going to win the GD world series  :surprised:

Boston
Seattle
Detroit

how do we avoid seeing Detroit in the playoffs?

Angels or As beat them in wild card?

Can you imagine if it's the A's vs Tigers in the WC game?  :Wha:

if the season ends in this order:

1. Angels/A's
2. Baltimore
3. KC
4. A's/Angels
5. Detroit

the divisional round looksl ike this:
1 plays the winner of 4 vs 5, and 2 plays 3

right?

so as long as we win the division we won't see Detroit again until the ALCS

UNLESS we end up with the #1 seed (unlikely)

you guys, we may not have to see Detroit in the playoffs  :surprised:

We played a lot of games against Detroit before we became Royal, though.

I kow that, dork. I think you were the guy behind him. There was a guy who seemed like fun, around my age, that shook/high fived him wearing a light blue royals shirt. Am I close?

I don't think I would have been in the shot with the kid, and I was towards the field but we didnt get down there till the 6th or so.  The guy who started the "Let's Go Royals" chant was in between us though and it was amazing.  :D

i don't think kc will have to worry about detroit in the finals.  only one of the two of them will get in.
