Guys, Guardians of the Galaxy was super awesome if you're into sci-fi fantasy stuff. It's more Star Wars-y than it is comic book-y.
You seriously went without me? Wow.

Not very. Lots of suspense though. And tornados are cool.

was it loaded w/ action?  tons of hot scenes featuring a shirtless labeouf?  any cars that turn into killer robots with giant guns?  i'm looking for the good stuff- something i've not seen before, something new.

I agree that Andy Dwyer is putting together quite the IMDb page. He's also been good in Zero Dark Thirty and Her in the past couple of years. Delivery Man sucked, but his character was funny...kind of reminded me of PSH in Along Came Polly.

Michael Bay reminds me of Lance Armstrong. The dude is basically like the best ever. But, admittedly, he's also kind of an bad person.  So, certain rivals start badmouthing him. Then, before you know it, everything turns into a 24/7 Michael Bay haterfest.  As they say, it's lonely at the top.

This is a great comparison. He uses CGI just like Lance used performance enhancing drugs.

Calling all Ethan Hawke fans.

Looking forward to this one.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Holy crap, they shot that over a twelve year period with the same cast.  That is rough ridin' amazing.

Watched a documentary Last Days Here last night. It's about Bobby Liebling the lead singer from Pentagram. I was very good. Phil Anselmo makes an appearance in it.

have watched several movies over the week.

The Fortress of Bears - documentary on an area with the highest concentration of brown bears on the planet. there was a heart stopping chase between a very hungry bear and a moose. high-speed, it crossed several different landscapes and culminated in a water chase. for a second i thought i was watching a michael bay movie. fantastic.

:raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon:

Last Stand - Wtf did I just watch, and how was this an actual movie?

The Limits of Control - slow and methodical, didn't really do much. kept being surprised at all of the stars that signed up for minor rolls in this indie film. Was a little weird.

 :raccoon: :raccoon:

The Internship - awful happy go-lucky movie. THINGS ALL WORK OUT IN THE END, GUYS, AND THIS WAS ONE CRAZY SUMMER.

The Master - I highly enjoyed this movie. The acting alone is worth the watch.

:raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon:

Raccoon Nation - Raccoons are awesome. Good job raccoons.

 :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon:

The Mystery of Eels - Had no idea I would find eels so interesting or that no one knows anything about them. Probably aliens.

 :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon:

Machete Kills - Was bored pretty quickly. The schtick has gotten pretty old, fairly quickly.

 :raccoon:

Somm - These people are insane.

I also watched "The Fortress of Bears" this week.  What about the part where the mama bear has two cubs and they are playing around and having fun and then the next time they see that mama she only has one cub.   :frown:

Saw "A Walk in the Clouds" last night with the old lady.  It's cheesy in parts, but all around decent.  Anthony Quinn is a Triple O.G.
