Baylor is terrible.

Lowest points and yardage of the year, hoe.
The defense was incredible, despite the backup QB. Best defensive performance against a P5 since???

2014 shutout of UT
Good one, this felt even better for some reason. Maybe because I've been preconditioned by how terrible we've of late that it made today seem so good.

This one is better, that UT offense was hapless.

Is anyone else a little troubled by the fact that Hubes got the garbage time snaps instead of Delton?

Yes this was annoying. I'm curious as to why this was

Baylor's QB was hilarious.  He had no fucks to give for any potential negative consequence.  Getting pressured?  Heave it down the field because maybe a receiver will catch it and it'll be awesome, nothing bad can come from it.  There was a play where our pass-rusher was a giant wall in his throwing lane, and he was like "I am a great QB and can absolutely throw it through this dude's chest."  Mixed-Nutz and I had a good time imagining him in other real life scenarios.

almost felt bad for him when his receivers bitched out on him for our pick in the endzone. almost.

I think it was either two or three plays and they were only hand offs. The bigger question is why Sisco didn't take those snaps, he came in the last drive to take a knee.

Didn't notice he came back. Very strange.

My guess as to why Ertz came in to take the knee is that Hubener probably doesn't take many snaps under center in practice.

Also, it's the victory formation. Why not let the starter take those snaps? Risk of injury is pretty close to 0.

Thank God Weber doesn't coach the team.  Instant broken foot.

Man oh man, did you see after 10 rough ridin' games the coaches figured out who the best RB was for a whole rough ridin' quarter!

The D probably should've had about 5 picks due to what trim said.. but man the Baylor wide outs were not helping him out at all..

How about that catch by Zuber and the kickoff return by Reed

felt great to be a 2nd half team  :Purple Koolaid:

Barnes is great, but Jones was gashing these guys as well. Coaches just kept feeding Barnes because why would you stop? Our O line just took over the second half.

To be fair, he's had several of those this year. He does still go east-west too much though.

But IIRC that one run was on the same drive where Barnes went off. I just think the lanes started being there after our line stepped up.

FWIW, I'm not advocating for Jones over Barnes. Barnes needs to get 70% of the snaps and at least 20 carries, but I'm fine with Jones getting some reps. He's had a decent season.

I like rotating silmon/barnes and think of them as almost interchangeable warmack is a nice change of pace tho and I think he is our quickest and most shifty back.
CJ can come in on screen passes and blocking assignments
posted this a while back but its safe to say barnes is possibly our next secretariat.. I think he's a mudder

I think you guys are ignoring how great Barnes is at not getting tackled for a loss. Several times on Saturday if old Charlie "dancing legs" Jones was in we would have gotten a five yard loss and Barnes at least got us back to the line of scrimmage.
