Tulane HC Willie Fritz named redshirt junior QB Jonathan Banks the starting quarterback.

It'll be interesting to see what he can do.

5th in QBR after week 1 behind EMAW stud, Ertz.

I can't think about Chad May without thinking about how awful his last game was. That Aloha Bowl was the Syracuse Insight Bowl of the mid 90s.

May was also sacked like a bajillion times that game. gE would have had a banner day bitching about the OL.

Thanks jmarks. Feel bad that you're running IT when you should be watching the game.
It's all good... :D Really happy to help out great fans like y'all.
I'm watching on regular TV or was. just wish the Cats were kicking their ass! C'mon Boys!!!

I checked the stream with different bitrates and all seem to working great for me. Let them each go a couple of minutes with no issues

I actually haven't had any issues since I bitched about it.

already downgraded to the 1264 link.

Just ran speedtest and I'm running at 30Mbps. Not the greatest, but should be able to handle that resolution I would think.

remember when we thought we were going to get cam newton/denard robinson?

And Tyrik Rollison

 :excited:

Commerce, Texas – The A&M-Commerce football team opened the 2014 season in record breaking fashion beating East Texas Baptist in a 98-20 rout setting a new NCAA Division II record for total offense with 986 yards Thursday night at Memorial Stadium.

To go along with the NCAA record for total offense, the Lions set LSC record for points scored with 98, tied the touchdown record with 13, tied the record for the most point after attempts with 13 and broke the record with 11 PATs made. The A&M-Commerce record book was rewritten for most points in a half with 57 in the first half.

Tyrik Rollison, who completed 26-of-33 of his passes for 562 and six touchdowns, paved the way for the Lions with his arm. On the ground, the Lions produced 405 yards as three players turned in 100 yard performances – Joe Bergeron with 137 yards and two TDs, Richard Cooper with 118 yards and two TDs, and Theo Wofford with 103 yards and two TDs on only nine carries.

“I have to give all the credit to my teammates on the edge catching passes and the offensive line for giving us time to work,” said Rollison.

Rollison broke the school record for passing yards and total offensive yards, tied the record for TD passes and broke the record for yards per attempt with 17 yards per pass attempt. As a team, the Lions snapped the net passing yards record with 590 yards through the air. Bergeron and Wofford each broke the record for yards per carry in single-game, but Wofford out ran the veteran back averaging 11.4 yards per game. The Lions also snapped the school record for yards per play with 12.7 yards per play. As a unit, the offense ran 81 plays snapping the total plays in game record.

Three receivers tallied over 100 yards from Rollison’s arm. Vernon Johnson hauled in six catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. Seth Smith caught four passes for 132 and two scores, and Ricky Collins grabbed four passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

A&M-Commerce will travel to NCAA FCS Division I member Stephen F. Austin Saturday, September 13 at 6 p.m.

Didn't see this is anywhere yet (didn't look very hard).

Wasn't sure if it belonged in this thread or the new uniforms thread...

you guys are too much sometimes. those things would be like 21 and 22 on my list of things to be concerned about re: the bram

well, yeah.

but, since it's the subject at hand...

in reality, the only interior necessities are fixing the tunnell/tarp debacle and HD video boards.

What about a video tarp?

Yeah Ive heard the building code story.  Yet, in buildings constructed since OOD, I've not seen such massive and white aisles.  And codes have gotten tighter, not more lax, since the 80s.  Take SCenter as an example.  Aisles are half the width and are black.

So

Lower seating level of the SC only has 30 rows, the Bram has 40 rows. All this egress stuff is based on how far someone has to travel to an exit and how many people you have per exit.

I think the aisles issue is a combination of excess and bad placement.

The seating areas are approx. 18 seats wide meaning a maximum of 9 seats away from an aisle. I'm pretty sure you can go upwards of 12 seats away from an aisle or 24 seats wide while maintaining the same width of aisle. This coupled with bleachers (narrower seats) at bramlage (at least opposite the camera) vs. chairbacks at sprint, means wider seating areas in comparison to the aisle width.

Also, it was not well thought out to locate an aisle at midcourt. The aisles are more noticeable as it is front and center.

In regards to the paint on the stairs. I'm pretty sure the only area of the stair that is required to be visually distinctive is the nosing of the stair while descending. Pretty sure the risers don't have to be painted a different color unless the heights are not uniform.

Common knowledge, I know... But looks we're another Super bowl. Feels good.

"We’ve had K-State circled all season. We’ve had a running clock waiting for this game since the summer. This is the No. 1 game we want to win every single year...This is a big game for us and a big game for the Kansas program, A win like this could throw everything out the door. Whatever the record was, OK, we beat Kansas State, our rival, we got bragging rights for a whole year."
