How many cities will host? I'd love for KC as a city to host, Arrowhead isn't a good looking stad imo. It'd be great for ease of attendance on my part, but if I was anywhere else in the country ld be all yuck city about KC hosting

LA, NY, Dallas, Chicago would all be host cities, but Kansas City has a great stadium, natural grass field that is a requirement and is central to the entire tournament. Not sure what your hate about Arrowhead is coming from, it's a great stadium.

Also with the soccer facilities being built in correspondence with Sporting Club and the NT training center there are tons of spots for teams to practice and set up shop

Arrowhead looks fine. The gross-ness of it is more the fanbase than the stadium. Attendance is what would make or break how a stadium looks anyway

Arrowhead's shape is aesthetically pleasing but the red yellow and orange seats are pretty gross

Arrowhead would sell out a WC game so you wouldn't have to worry about the admittedly bad seat color.

edit. read too quick, "at least 12 cities" will be host cities aka host games. doesn't bode as well for KC.

LA Seattle Chicago Dallas New York and ATL will be the 6 cities the US gets if it is only 12 Total cities.

Houston, Kansas City, MSP would be in the mix for any other "central" slots

Bay Area and Vegas would be in the mix for any other West slots

Philly, Boston, and Miami will be in the mix for any other East slots

Roster for the next round of WCQ will come out on sunday. With Brooks out, Yedlin coming back from injury, i think you see Matt and Grahm called in. Will be interested to see what the full squad looks like. I would assume no crazy surprises, but we'll see soon enough.

Graham and Matt in the squad. Nothing to surprising. Sadly we still haven't moved on from the Wondo era.

I love Wondo and DaMarcus but GMAFB, those are both spots where you could easily bring someone else into camp for those spots to give a look to. I also hate the selections of Omar Gonzalez and Fabian Johnson. Wasn't it determined that Johnson was the FP, TC from two years ago that screwed the team during the CONCACAF Cup?

Fabian Johnson is fine. Omar is fringe but with Brooks hurt i'm not shocked he got called in, may start. DMB is in because Yedlin is hurt, and we have no depth at outside back.
