Turns out there's a ton more characters I wouldn't really miss than vice versa:

Here are the only characters I'd like to see come through this:
1. Hound
2. Jon
3. Jamie
4. Tormund & Brianne (she deserves something nice)
5. Tyrion

Also, as villains go, the Night King doesn't seem all that bad. I mean he's obviously got different goals but he never seems to get angry or vindictive. He seems to be playing on a whole other level. I would much prefer to see him survive instead of, say, Cersei or Littlefinger.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

My favorites are Arya, the Hound, Jon, Tyrion, and Littlefinger. Euron is also great, but he's not featured enough for me to consider him a main character.

I guess we aren't going to need 3 dragon riders now.

What if Jon, with all his re-born stuff plus the half Targ/half Stark thing is able to ride the ice dragon?

I can almost picture a scene happening where ice dragon helps bring down the wall and right when everything seems lost he flys in front of Jon and a scene occurs mirroring the scene on Dragonstone after Dany takes out the wagon train. Jon climbs on the ice dragon and turns the table on the Night King.

There are a lot of theories online about Jon riding an ice dragon.

This is super nerdy, but I was thinking about that Dany prophecy about how she'll be betrayed three times: for blood and gold and love. I think blood (witch who killed Drogo), and gold (Jorah) are pretty well established, but the third betrayal for love is still out there. Lotta people think it will be Tyrion. I think it might be Jamie. Tyrion is trusting Jamie not to spring a trap on Dany, but what if Jamie betrays Tyrion (and Dany) out of love for Cersei? If that's the case we could find out in the season finale.

Another option is that Jon is gonna betray her and double back on bending the knee, but not sure how he would do that for love.

What happened to Dany's son becoming the stallion who rules the world? Did that die with her stillborn (monster?) baby or is it still a possibility? I mean that baby didn't rule the world so the prophesy hasn't been fulfilled.

Was that a "prophecy" or just something Drogo decided based on Dothraki folklore? He said "hey, my son's gonna be the Stallion that rules the world." Nope. And even if that's a prophecy, sometimes people  misread them, like Stannis thinking he was Azor Azai or whatever.

The Stallion Who Mounts the World (Dothraki: Vezh fin saja rhaesheseres) is a prophecy in the Dothraki religion. According to the prophecy, the Stallion is the "khal of khals" who will unite all the Dothraki under his single khalasar and ride to the ends of the earth. The prophecy states that "he will be the khal of khals, and all the people of the world will be his herd."

Sounds like Dany is the stallion who mounted the world.

While we are on the subject of prophecies... Maggie said that Cersei would only have 3 kids. She's either lying to Jaime about her pregnancy or will die before giving birth.

Interesting theory and plausible since Sam should be a teenager by the time the White Walkers get to King's Landing.

I read an interesting fan theory that Rhaegar was Azor Azai, and Jon was his theoretical "flaming sword".  It mad sense in the "fan theory" realm, but doubt that is really where they are going with it.  It went something like, Azor tried 3 times to build Lightbringer.  On the third try he succeeded but had to kill the thing he loved most to create it (his wife).  Rhaegar was born amidst smoke and salt, Jon is his 3rd child, and the woman he loved died because of the birth.

Do the Westerosi know the dangers of drinking alcohol during pregnancy? Could be an issue for Cersei.

Are some of you bringing book references into the show thread?

Yes, kindof.  I forget at times where the book ends and the show begins, and since we are beyond the books, I think everything from books should be taken with many grains of salt

I was just wondering if I had early onset Drumpfmentia as I don't get some of the references. I have not read any of the books.

That Azhor Azai talk is from the books. I don't think that name has been mentioned on the show although The Prince (or a person of unknown gender who is heir to a throne) Who Was Promised has been mentioned and that's the same person (I think).

But the Stallion who Mounts the World was in the show.
