his voice, enthusiasm and professionalism made him the gold standard for a team employed php guy for me.

IIRC his wife was on the TV side of WIBW so the split was incredibly complicated for him.

limited sample size but his stats vs high majors are good

How has Painter been at Purdue for as long as he has? No one tries to hire him away just because it's his alma mater? He's won the Big Ten 4 of the past 8 years and is only getting paid $3.67 million. Surely somewhere like Kentucky or UCLA could lure him away.

if i remember correctly, he about left 10 years ago but decided to stay. He's had some tourney issues which prob scare some.
Painter leveraged the hell out of Mizzou before they hired Haith

Incidentally, one of the co-conspirators turned on the group and extorted Esch in particular. The unidentified male threatened to expose the entire enterprise to authorities in exchange for Esch paying the man's bond for release from jail and giving several five-figure payments to the man's girlfriend. Esch, according to his plea agreement, even shrugged off the man's admitted theft of an all-terrain vehicle from Esch in exchange for the man's silence.

In August of 2023, a month before Jager and Esch reached their plea agreements with prosecutors, this unidentified male co-conspirator escaped from prison. This triggered a nationwide manhunt and caused Esch and his family "to go into hiding," as stated in a court document. Two weeks after the escape, the co-conspirator was found dead.

I would pay Sneed - he will easily transition to an elite fs in the twilight of his career.  Jones wants and deserves to be the highest paid DT so I hope we find a sign and trade or whatever that makes that happen, ideally in the NFC

I have kinda changed my mind lately that a roof would even get KC a SB.
the bitching on NBA twitter about the All Star game in Indy this year and the possibility of Milwaukee in the 3 years does give me pause

We might get a Final 4 with a roof, 2038 will be the 50th anniversary from the last one in kc

Anyone know anything about European soccer? I know crap about it and it appears the season ends in Juneish? Would love to hit up a game while in Portugal. Do they have like a Ted Lasso type league or something that plays in the summer? I'm early on in my Portugal googling. I know crap about soccer, but Lil SF would love the crap out of a "real" soccer game.

I've not actually pulled the trigger and went to one euro match in my travels either due to timing or price so not much help there but I fell in love with Portugal when I went. Porto and Lisbon were both amazing with the best food I think I've ever had, if you like seafood.

This seems to be the consensus for anyone that has been and a reason it was on my radar. Very excited about the food. Already booked a Rusty recommended spot. Any other tips are appreciated. Staying in Lisbon, but cool to move around and do whatever.

the youth vb world is maybe the most cut and dried of the youth sports on this
Select = local tournaments primarily (1 or 2 tournaments per year with a hotel stay)
practice twice a week from Oct to April

Premier = multiple out of town tournaments with goal of making nationals
practices/training 3 to 4 per week from August to June

Select will cost a fam $3k more or less, Premier 3x at least
