Why is K-State so much better than Texas at everything?

However, I was wondering what the single biggest reason for Kansas State's dominance over Texas must be?

I read where they have a saying called "Keep Austin Weird."  What's really weird is having the greatest recruiting class in the conference every single year and still getting rough ridin' demolished by Kansas State every single year.  That's weird.  Mission accomplished, Austin.
