I think that's the question. . .how tempered should our enthusiasm be?  I'm ready for an EMAW dynasty. . . but I've learned not to get ahead of myself.

I have us losing at home to OSU for 8-4, but we very well might beat either Auburn or OSU to get to 9-3. 2 losses in the Big 12 might be good enough to win the conference.

Do guys think that the Snake will throw Daniel the ball a lot because of how good of friends they are?  Like, even though he may be a horrible route runner, maybe these two guys will just have something special.  Like Todd Reesing and Dylan Meier's brother?

From what I understand a lot of what makes the QB/receiver relationship work is timing.  If snake can get it to #LIFE in the open field I think he will.  I'm also guessing they'll have super secret bro hand signals for route audibles at the line.

This is going to be a very good team.  Regardless of what the consensus is on Waters (not just on goEMAW, so not picking on anyone here), the receivers will be really good.  I think regardless of who the QB would be, the offense will be pretty good.

I think the defense is going to be deceptively good.  If I were to grade how good I think they'll be, I think it will be more in line with B to B+ with the offense being A- to A.

Special teams will probably be really good in kick returns (as per usual), and as long as Jack doesn't pull another Bill Grammatica next year, I think special teams will be B+ to A-.

This team is going to contend for the Big 12 title late into the year.  The game in Norman next year hurts, but we'll have a lot of season after that to try and stay in the hunt if they trip up (as they usually do).

Overly optimistic prediction from me is 10-2 with losses to Auburn and @OU.  Probably lose the Cotton Bowl or something and go 10-3.

I think Baylor is the kind of team that wilts a little bit as the season wears on because, like us, they lack a lot of depth.  They can field a really strong 22, but the next 22 can be pretty shaky.

Also, teams that rely primarily on high scoring offenses usually lose 1-2 games they shouldn't.  No data on that, but just subjective observational analysis.

i don't think our defense will be as good as '12 (still good), but our offense should be just as good as '12, maybe even better, and in a totally different way.
