Lockett isn't practicing. No boot, braces, crutches, etc, nothing visibly wrong, but he isn't practicing or suited up.  (*Had minor shoulder surgery)

We are throwing much more than in the past. Seem to be much farther along/doing more stuff than in the past, assumedly from Water's experience level.

Sams is a horrible route runner but is very athletic and strong as an ox. Coleman is working with him a lot on footwork, intricacies of the position, etc. he isn't taking any snaps at QB. Made great td catch in scrimmage.

Jesse Ertz looks good. Pretty thin physically but playing well.

Sexton solid as per normal. Runs good routes.

Burton impressing. Running with the ones. Looks the part. Still learning but should contribute.

D line looks small but pretty solid in scrimmage.

RB's - kinda meh. Nobody standing out. Not good not bad.

Overall, team looking pretty good. Seems Snyder and team knows and thinks we can be pretty good and have a special year.

Who would have thought?

Sams should play BBall for oscar. Could take over Will's minutes.

Hearing that both Klein and Burton have looked good.

McDaniel is owning the receivers in run support, literally throwing some of them and pushing others into the ball carrier.

McDaniel still needs work in coverage though.

Chris Brown has lost a lot of weight and seems to have lost some strength as well.

DMac is looking very quick.

Nate Jackson has looked really good in both coverage and run support.

Schelly made some really nice plays in yesterdays team session.

expect mcdaniel and burns to battle it out for the 3rd CB spot, Burns has looked good as well.

Stupid question but did we have Burns playing some safety last year or am I just an idiot?

HE'S GOT HIS EAR TO THE GROUND (AND THE GROUND IS RIGHT INSIDE THE FOOTBALL OFFICES AND ON THE PRACTICE FIELD AND IN THE BRAINS OF THE PLAYERS AND COACHES)!

have we considered hiking him the ball and having him barrel into the line of scrimmage 40 times in a row in situations where that could benefit us?

Is all this info a for real "we're gonna be really good" spring talk or more like a Nebraska "we're gonna be really good" spring talk?
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

It probably just depends on how you define "good".
