How did our OL/DL look?

We need to focus on a position of need: Our entire offense. Kody Cook is going to be our #1 receiver so we are covered there.

Kody cook will do just fine blocking for warmack and whatever we are calling joe

All you guys are so damn high on Warmack. Our Walk-on is better than Warmack. Justin Silmon - http://www.hudl.com/athlete/440108/highlights/121638375

How the hell could you possibly know that?

I know.

The fact that a player like Bazooka Joe is even in the mix at QB at this point in time is astounding to me, and should be astounding to any K-State fan.

Even with the caveat of the spring game in place, the fact that another walk-on was seemingly the star of the show only piles on to the absurdity that we have recruited scholarship players who cannot step up and out perform walk-ons.

How did our OL/DL look?

DL was okay, could disrupt the line easily. The OL looked pretty shaky and caused the QB's to have to scramble alot.

How did our OL/DL look?

Below were the starters for respective units.  Najvar and Risner flipped purple/white at half which means that is still a battle?  Stiverson/Kleinsorge still out with injuries.  Whitehair tweaked an ankle during the game.

Purple
No   Name      Pos   Ht   Wt   Yr
64   Bennett, Aaron      RT   6'7"   285   SR-1L
68   Hayes, Luke      RG   6'6"   295   SR-1L
67   Najvar, Reid      OC   6'4"   290   SO-SQ
70   Ash, Will      LG   6'2"   338   JR-2L
55   Whitehair, Cody      LT   6'4"   309   SR-3L

White
No   Name      Pos   Ht   Wt   Yr
56   Johnson, Terrale      RT   6'1"   332   JR-RS
69   Bergstrom, Reed      RG   6'2"   305   SR-1L
71   Risner, Dalton      OC   6'4"   302   FR-RS

There's no question we'll be running QB battering ram offense this season, which favors Hubes and Delts

I can't wait for Ertz to start and throw the ball all around inefficiently and then have Snyds wonder in post game why Delton or Hubes didn't play.

Too early to start the Delton transfer thread?

I mean, he sucked balls yesterday.  But, it's not surprising in the least that a guy like him is in the mix under Snyder.  I mean, look at Klein. Converted Ron price WR.

Yes, typically we have to temper our expectations because players fill up the stat sheet during the spring game. That didn't happen today. Which makes you wonder just how truly pathetic they'll be against actual competition.

Dominique Heath looked like a stud as a return guy.

Basically, like we thought, the wide receivers corps is probably the worst ever under Snyder.  No athletic playmakers that can stretch a defense or can run a decent route and get any separation.  Burton looked the best of the worst.

Running back is essentially the same story.  We know what we've got in Charles Jones, a middle of the road guy.  Warmack looked slow and extremely unimpressive.  The standout was a fullback, Stilman?

Conclusion, our offense this year is going to blow complete ass, we won't win many games, and recruiting stars matter.

Weird place to use this argument, considering how highly Warman was rated.

It's hard to put any stock in Wabash's comment when he gets Silmon's position and name wrong. Woof

My take aways:

1. Rodney was a no show at the tailgate. He stayed out late with JO and Tay the night before.  :frown:
2. Ran into Bookie. It was nice seeing him. I still didn't settle our bet.  :curse:
3. My buddy (the mccormick rep) showed up with his company truck and it attracted a lot of Browns to our tailgate.  One girl told us she was on that MTV show fat camp and showed us a picture of her profile online from back in the day.  :Ugh: Umm, congrats!
4. Saw about 5 minutes of the game before we ran into ppl that we knew from back in the day and we all headed back out to the tailgate.
5. Left for Westport in the 3rd quarter and started to brown out.
6. Good times!

So yeah, I think we're gonna be pretty good this year.  :emawkid: :ksu:

 More than likely. Probably closer to rubbing alcohol. He brought those as well. Until you guys try 360 vodka, double chocolate, you've never really lived.

Wacky, you considered being a sales rep/distributor for 360 as your next gig?

Oh yeah, I don't know if I could keep up tho. My bud is doing big things. He had to really work his way up to get where he's at. They fly him to a new college town every week. He's having a lot of fun. I barely ever see him anymore.
