No. Not even close. And definitely not the one with the ponytail.

Yes, typically we have to temper our expectations because players fill up the stat sheet during the spring game. That didn't happen today. Which makes you wonder just how truly pathetic they'll be against actual competition.

Dominique Heath looked like a stud as a return guy.

Basically, like we thought, the wide receivers corps is probably the worst ever under Snyder.  No athletic playmakers that can stretch a defense or can run a decent route and get any separation.  Burton looked the best of the worst.

Running back is essentially the same story.  We know what we've got in Charles Jones, a middle of the road guy.  Warmack looked slow and extremely unimpressive.  The standout was a fullback, Stilman?

Conclusion, our offense this year is going to blow complete ass, we won't win many games, and recruiting stars matter.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Delton is going to be a 4 year starter super stud. Kyle Klein looked good.

Our defense might actually be really good. Lee, Willis and Prewett are all high level players. Adams and Tanking should give good depth.

Our run offense will simply be predicated on Snyder either playing freshman or not. The best back all day was silmon(a frosh) and Alex Barnes looked really good at times. I think ertz won opening day starter yesterday but that's just my opinion

Any word on Marquel Bryant? He didn't play and I didn't see him listed as one of the guys that was injured.

He looked like a huge stud on the sidelines.

Delton won it running that veer. All QBs lost throwing the ball.

Good; thanks much.  He wasn't in a full body cast or anything, right?

There's no question we'll be running QB battering ram offense this season, which favors Hubes and Delts

Everyone knows that's Liam Neeson, and don't any of you get high expectations for any player who does something above average in a spring practice.  Temper yourselves by the thought of Ell running 80 yards for a TD the first time he ever touched a football for the Cats in a spring game and then waited three years to play.

I can't wait for Ertz to start and throw the ball all around inefficiently and then have Snyds wonder in post game why Delton or Hubes didn't play.

Why can you not wait for that?

it makes for way better bbs'ing than just having one boss stud as QB run all over everyone's faces and occasionally chuck it in the air deep to either a playmaking, strong WR or some boss stud WR with wheels.

Hope he learned his lesson two years ago.  He needs to get his play callers on the same page as him this year, he is either the boss or he isn't.  If they won't coach as he wishes they should be shown the door.
One thing I ask:  if our QB has only one shoulder, can we please still have a decent running game?

I think Delton became a legitimate threat to start.

By that, I mean when Snyder says he's now in the mix, he's not doing it to eff with the older guys.  He's legitimately going to compete for the job.

I honestly think the defense is going to be pretty damn good. The offense will be serviceable at best, but the defense is going to be very strong.

This is a bowl team on the strength of defense and ST.  McCrane will be MVP this year.
