I pretty sure he will be the starter. The QB that shared starts with him last season has moved to TE. The Qb that is second team is No. 12 who is a 6' 5" sophomore that can also throw and move good (but not as good as Daniel moves). If Matt goes by past history the 2nd team Qb will get one series in both the first and second half.

I'm anxious to see what Daniel can do with a completely healed throwing hand. I don't think it was completely right last season and he hurt it again with several games left in the season. He had more surgery on it in the off season and, from what I hear, was just cleared to throw again before the spring practices started.

It is hard to tell how good the offense will be this season because our defense appears to be damned good!!

Nah, I'm a long suffering Astros fan from way back when they were Colt 45's and played in the old stadium before the AstroDome was built. I remember the first game I went to when I was 14 at that stadium with the St. Louis Cardinals. The players walked through the underneath of the stadium to get to the field. I remember seeing Curt Flood. Nellie Fox was a the end of his career and was playing for the Colt 45's. Also, I can remember Doug "The Red Rooster" Rader playing third base. Right now, the Astros, in their infinite wisdom, went with a cable system that is not available in SW LA cutting off a lot of old Astros fans in SW LA. The only time we see them on TV is when they play the Texas Rangers. Oh, and we can watch all the Texas Ranger games we want but who wants to. So, my interest in baseball has waned. We used to make a trip or two to Houston to catch a game. Not anymore.

And football is taking too long to get here.
