Really good shooting and really bad turnovers. Oboarding picked up in the 2nd half as well as FT rate.

Brown, Sneed, and Westicles continue to score. Unexpected points from Ervin. Decent overall game from Wade.

My guess is he's implying this team staying around 30 for an extended time, which would mean they would be a tournament lock.

This team has to get the TO issues under control. We had 16 in our first 49 Possessions tonight. Just too many lazy passes or too many wild passes off of the drive. Id like to see us be closer to 17.5-18.5 and we are at 21.0 TO% for the year.

This team continues to shoot the ball well. This is the 6th straight game we have been over 50.0% on 2pt, and 3 of those 6 we have been above 63.0%

I enjoyed parts of the game, but for the first time in a while I'm getting kind of sick of playing teams that are so obviously overmatched. At least we'll be on the road for the next one.

I actually like a lot of the players on this team - when Wes, Stokes, Brown and now Sneed are getting after people on D it is very enjoyable. Add to that Maurice has the length, hands and touch to be a good big in Weber's system and part of me thinks oscar has a shot to have real success here.

Yes, I remember the same after 14, then oscar burned it down himself. 2 of those guys that seemed so promising have moved on and are the best players on their respective teams.

Once again, it looks like oscar and his staff have found a core of 3 star guys that appear to be solid Big 12 players. We'll see a) if this group can have similar success and surprise the league like the 14 group did and then b) if oscar and staff can manage the talent and keep it together going forward. Until I see it, those are still big ifs to me.

I got my hopes up at times last night and then remember how shitty oscar team's have been on the road. Then I remember the Maryland quasi-road game outcome and get mildly depressed about possibly winning 2-3 road games all year.

i think they could get to 30 and not make the tournament. especially with this noncon. they'll need to blow out teams all noncon and then lose some tight games in conference, but they've got a chance.

yeah, as Frank showed last year the committee values good wins (top 25ish) over anything else and it appears we will only have those opportunities in conference unless Mike from FtC's Rams make a 100+ move over the course of this season.

Its tough to finish around 30 in a P5 conference, but possible. Florida and Baylor have actually done it multiple times the last several years. Iowa did it a couple years ago too. You pretty much have to have no bad losses and 4 or fewer top 50 wins with 1 or fewer top 25 wins. If oscar manages .500 in the league this year, he will probably have 5 top wins minimum.

Its pretty amazing to look back at the number of top 20 wins the 15 team had (5) and not make the tournament, but that team also had 5 bad losses and 3 really bad losses.
