TLJ was a bit long.  I felt there were too many cute jokes  (can you put a towel on).    A little disjointed.     I'd rank it $5 after the originals and TFA.   The prequels are dead to me though, so that doesn't say much.

The Greatest Showman: Superb. One of the most enjoyable theater experiences ever. This is the kind of film Hugh Jackman wants to make (and way better than his Les Mis).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Wonder

Pretty good family drama. Took 13yo and her friend. She liked it so much she went again with a different friend and my 16yo daughter.

If you cry at movies, this one will get you. My 16yo was a mess. I was a bit misty a couple of times. The ending got me in the feels.

Watched a little foreign film by the name of "A Man Called Ove" last night.  It was a little too long, but for the most part I really enjoyed it.  I didn't even mind having to read the whole time, after a while I didn't even notice!

Star Wars the Last Jedi

IMAX 3d

Movie was decent. I can never care about Star Wars characters (except in Rogue One). Prob should have passed on the 3d.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Gravity is the only movie that I've seen that I thought was actually enhanced by it.   I think scenes in space can take advantage of it best but overall, 3D sucks.  I was wondering if I should see Star Wars with or without it.

i watched Pan's Labyrinth last night. i don't know if it was intentional, but the movie is like an exact film adaption of one of my favorite books (The Book of Lost Things, by John Connolly). also did not know it is pretty violent! it's a great story and i liked it a lot - 6/7

I almost threw up watching Finding Dory in 3D.  Had to take my glasses off.

Well, the last two normal SW didn't have a problem with that.  Jesus, I mean pick something that isn't completely false.

In the spoilers thread they name two notable good guys that have been killed in the last two episodes.  I bet you have heard of them too.

Anybody watch Bright on Netflix? What a delightfully stupid and cliched movie. They literally turned Lord of the Rings into a buddy cop movie. With a healthy dash of Will Smith being Will Smith. Even a dash of Training Day. Very much enjoyed this.

Speaking of Will Smith, how has that dude not aged a day since ID4?! He’s gotta be doing some sort of experimental gene therapy the rest of us can’t afford. Damn! (In sassy Will Smith voice).
