super pro tip on whether someone is going to ask you if they can pay you to put a wind turbine on your western ks land.  look up, if there's a high-voltage transmission line there, the answer is yes.  otherwise no.

So I asked my Dad about this and his reply was "Yes, there are some by Mingo". Welp, looks like he is right. I did some googling and found this neat little website from the department of Energy that shows pretty much anything you could imagine. https://www.eia.gov/state/maps.php

There is a substation in Mingo and a high voltage power line (115kv) 1 mile away from the farm. I found the closest wind farm on the map and it was right next to a 115kv power line as well.

Now if we can just get OBAMA or someone who supports renewable energy back in office we can start rolling in that sweet sweet windfarm money.  :kstategrad:

Ben ji

Are there turbines in Thomas County now?  Didn't realize there were so many projects in the works.

there are 4 breeds of cows. hereford, angus, white, white with black spots.
What about black with white belts?

That's just a cow that's not good at martial arts

jeter upperdeck rookie, bash brothers rookies, shaq rookies (hoops and upper deck), griffey rookies (fleer and upper deck), thousands of trash topps cards (he can keep these for all I care), bo jackson signed card, a bunch of remade old babe ruth cards that I roughed up and put in cases to make my friends think they were legit (sentimental value here), it goes on. essentially if you were a kid in the 90s I've got what you crave.
Take it to the collection thread

the large dealer network and parts availability are a big part of their dominance and they are much more of a innovator than HD

It isn't for my dad's farm. But wheat has been pretty awful the last couple of years. He's growing more canola now.

Yeah, planting corn and milo on ground that was once generally wheat only is called farming crop insurance. That's what makes it profitable.
