what is the name of the taco place and when does it open and what salsas and why will it be good and does it have burritos.

Good questions. No answers for any of them. If you look behind so long saloon, you can see where/how big it will be. They are still building. I have high hopes because of who is involved. It will work and will be popular. Guarantee. It is supposed to open up in two to three months or so from what I hear. No idea on the name. It will be small though and from what I hear, you will walk up and order and then sit down. They are spending a good amount of money on decor. If I run into certain people, i'll come back with more info.

Behind So Long?  Isn't that where The Lou is? Not that I care whether or not The Lou stays or goes, but if they aren't tearing it down then the only Space is like a miniscule gravel parking lot.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Also, lou is currently closed but will be opening back up.

Who owns the Lou these days?  I think Duane left it to one of his sons but I'm curious if Kelly's dumbass was able to keep it runnning...

Manhattan needs a good Mexican place.  We have several, but all of them (with the exception of Los Potrillos, which is decent) are absolutely dreadful.

El Tapatio is pretty good IMO, where Doe's used to be.

Anyone know when Cozy Burger is opening?  Also, Noodles and Co. going in one of the new buildings between Olive Garden and Walgreen's should be a solid addition.

not a big fan of the locay. everyones thought on green tea? kindof in no mans land in the 'ville but its really not too bad and the prices aren't terrible.

Green Tea is pretty good, and not too expensive, sucks they don't have a liquor license though.  I would assume Umi is open or really close to opening, because they sent menus out in the mail on Monday.

Saw some doughnut place (non-chain) is opening on Manhattan Ave in the 'Ville for summer '11.  Tons of new restaurants lately, its hard to keep up.

I normally don't do the dinner deal but it's not bad.  I usually just get sushi at the "sushi bar".

Build your own doughnut?  :crossfingers:

los potrillos is the second best mexican restaurant in the hat.

also is there any chance ever that aggieville will block driving/parking on the main streets. would make it way more elite imo.

Yeah but a sushi only bar would not survive here in t-town, so I make do with what we have. Looks like Umi is going the same route.

Donut place has me excited.  Seems like they have a lot of lofty promises though so I'm nervous on how well they deliver.

Always thought this.  Make Moro no traffic and then build some more lots, garages somewhere nearby.

Varsity Donuts. Same people that open Acme, Dusty and Thread are opening it up with the guy who owns most of Bluestem and used to be involved with The Palace. They're hoping to open in June. They're doing crazy toppings, one of which is maple bacon.
