i'd live there for six months or a year before you buy or else you might be like "man, why'd i buy this place here? i wish i woulda bought something over there."

just buy the most expensive one you can get financed for and do an interest only loan.  <---best advice in this thread

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Trim, are you going to be potentially living there by Florida Gator Sister School Winter Hoops Pak 2010?  We could have a strong base with you and trey there by then.

I owned a condo for 5 years.  It was cool, didn't have to do much.  Get one where they take care of everything for you.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

Are you the guy who took a picture of yourself peeing on the side of the road in West Virginia?  If so, you're not ready.

Definitely do this.  And use this thread to document everything about your process so should I go, I can just look here and have a bunch of research already done for me.

i think i'm going to do this.  this being get a 6 mo. lease and then look around once i'm down there.  also, living in a "cheap" apartment should help build up a down-payment stash.
