Yeah, if Snyder sticks around for a few more years I could see Coleman and Seiler as legitimate candidates if they perform well as coordinators.

Interestingly, depending on how long Snyder sticks it out (as long as he wants in my opinion) you have to wonder if several often mentioned candidates will want to continue coaching and/or take on new head coaching role if they are comfortable where they are at.

Leavitt - 61 years old
Bohl - 60 years old
Dimel - 55 years old
Snyder - 48 years old
Venables - 47 years old
Coleman - 46 years old
Seiler - 34 years old

yeah it sucks but Leavitt is getting old, Venables is still first choice but not banking on it being a real possibility. obviously if we can go out and get some huge stud i'm all for it but maybe coleman and seiler are huge studs.

a tip for all of the mongloids out there floating around in the 'gloid pond- there's a reason why gene taylor was hired as our ad and it wasn't to perform an exhaustive coaching search

This is where I am. Dimel is gone and we've finally got new young blood up in the booth. There's a lot of upside to this season, but it could also fall apart as well. I'd say by the middle of October we're going to know whether this new coaching staff is worth a damn or not.

I can't think of a single reason you'd need more than 6 plays

You get 8 plays in Tecmo Super Bowl, but most teams only had about 6 that I would regularly call.

Only because we do things the right way. Classless programs can get away with one less play by discarding kneeldowns. Not the Cats. Not on my watch.
