Well I believe we have 2 open right now so that's not a problem.

Pretty sure I read somewhere on GE that we weren't interested in transfers anymore to the point we weren't even in communication with a lot of the guys we were previously pursuing. Something about leaving a scholly open for an early graduate? - If we are still actively pursuing Stewart does that mean we are low key pursuing other options if Stewart chooses UT-Martin?

That article singled out Tarke and some other dude as not getting much interest.  I would imagine Stewart is still a high priority, particularly if he has us in his final two.

The #86 (I think) player in the 2019 class was mentioned as potentially being a December 2018 addition and said we agreed to hold a scholly open for him.

His dad was on Lowery's coaching staff at SIU.  Looks like he's ours if we can find an open scholarship.

How in the hell did you determine that? He's pretty clearly still trying to decide if he'd rather play for his dad or someone else. If he was "ours" he wouldn't have named a final two.

Unless he is trying to throw his dad's program a bone with a little national attention and already made his decision to be a KSU cat. :dunno:

We absolutely want Stewart and hopefully he chooses to come here. I understand there are factors at hand with his dad coaching at UT Martin that make this more complicated than it might seem at first look. He would be a great get as a sit out transfer.

The pot roast is done!!
Williams is coming June 2 as reported by 24/7 Reports.  Kid must have talent as the article said, "That being said, though, it was no guarantee he would have stayed with K-State, as North Carolina, South Carolina and others were working to get him to back off of his pledge to K-State this fall, according to Williams. Now there's no concern over having other schools chase his talent."

Thanks for the update on Williams.  Now we see how we do on McCullars.  If we do not get him, we'll have four open scholarships for 2019 instead of three and probably one or two more open up due to transfers.  2019 recruiting class will a big key in sustaining where we are now.

Would be Webers best recruit at KSU?
Highest ranked one I believe.  I would.put Wade and Brown as his two best.  Foster was a good recruit, predope version.   I consider his job of Keeping Frank's players on board was kind of like recruiting.  McCullar would.be a very good signing.

These three would look good as the cornerstones of KSU basketball for the next 3-4 years......

Okay you egotistical bastard he is from Canada, went to main, and went to some Haawg prep school in Little Rock.  Sounds like a find.

This kid is in the 2018 class and I believe we only have one scholarship left to offer.   If he elects to be a Wildcat, are we still in on McCullar?   Is there another upcoming departure we are not aware of?

To offer now would lead me to believe we are not going to get McCullar, or as you brought up, someone else is leaving.

I think Weber is hedging his bets on McCullar.  I watched tapes of Price-Noel.  He can handle the ball, drive, shoot 3, and nifty passing.  Watch his Utube against Memphis.   Looks like he would be a good fit - a Westicle DeJawRo cross.

McCullar wants teams to hold an 18 scholly, is only now narrowing a top 5, and is visiting us first.  We're a longshot and at risk to burn a scholarship  while our program is at a peak.  This staff better have some backup plans.
