Old school afro. Could be hooping with Evans, Dassie, Curtis and the boys.

What? That isn't an afro. Afros were combed and groomed he has a blowout

Off topic for the thread but the haircut that kelce invented (I believe he’s calling it a fade) is apparently becoming very popular.

I don’t rank my own posts on this blog spot, but if I did this most recent would make my personal top 20. Recency bias or that I’m just a shitty poster? I’ll let the readers decide.

It’s was v good. The American girl doll skit was my favorite thing on there in a while.

The pcat is too big in the design with the state around it. Make it fit inside the center circle.

Kendall wanted to leave arkansas because pitman would overrule him on offense calls and he was frustrated there. Didn’t exactly like Pittman. Looked at miss st and the two really considered each other but he apparently decided on tcu. There is good history between dykes and the briles family. Also and this I didn’t know. The OU offensive coordinater (Libby) is married to Kendall’s sister. And that’s been your Kendall briles minute with Rick Daris.

I kind of agree with tang. Also too much of our fanbase is comprised of yokels who just want to beat ku and show up in big numbers for the annual fball bowl game. It%u2019s embarrassing and small minded.

7
Yeah that’s a sad deal. I feel like I almost single handedly supported that place in the beginning when it was just the OG building and a shitty slab of concrete with a grill off to the side where he would sear the chicken.

I just hope that when they build the statue of him next to Ernie Barrett, they use a likeness of him doing the Wabash.

They should do a cheaper version of it now and have it in the concourse like they do the bobbleheads.  I'd imagine a decent amount of fans would love posting a pic doing the wabash with Tang.

That’s why you’re our idea guy. They should definitely do this.

You burning hedge in that thing Rick?

Don’t I wish! I think it’s mostly oak and walnut. It’s also just a regular looking fireplace built into the wall not a wood burning stove or anything. Buy it by the truckload from different friendly pott county residents.

I’ve been heating my whole house with just my fireplace last night and today. It (fireplace) is the only really nice thing about my house and I love it so so much. ??

Gas?

we have one in basement and one upstairs. may try this out. is it cheaper, more expensive or similar cost wise?

how on earth is this possible?

how is what possible?

It’s wood burning fireplace and forced air or something. So I start a fire and then flick a little light switch next to it and then operate the strength of the fan with a twisty knob. I don’t even have this thing full on and it’s heating my entire house. Currently 69 ( ;) ) in the living room/kitchen area. I had it up to 70 earlier today but my heat hating wife made me turn the blower off for a few hours. I love it so much.

I watched the second half and some of overtime plus kick off stuff. It was actually fairly interesting. I’m in New York and I think an Argentinian watching place was down my street. They were super into it. I wouldn’t watch it every week or anything but if most games are like that I would definitely watch some.

Safe to say he has a more vested interest than most in this particular expansion.

Dax doesn't know actual people, that was bound to be lost on him.
Oh man, good one

It wasn't meant to be a "good one." Most of us know why daris has a vested interest in this project, you don't but were the first to chime in, bad luck I guess.
I forgot about the little gE junta on this blog

I just live really close to that intersection and plot of land. A fair amount people have been over to my place before because they live close to mhk and can come back for games fairly easily. That’s all. Come back sometimes and we can have a yuengling together on my back deck before or after a game. 👍

Fresh scoop- mhs qb and rb both injured but both will play. I will not disclose the injuries here just in case there are any Gardner edgerton spies lurking.

Phew. Injured but sounds like he’ll play next week.

What’s the scouting report on this MHS squad? I think they are the best team in the state at all classes and I’m not sure they even have a P5 player on the roster.  Is Schartz the Nick Saban of Kanasas HS football?

Maize is clear, probably Mill Valley too. Manhattan should easily win the 6A state championship tho.

Maize plays Mill Valley in the state championship. Maize is the best offense in the state, Mill Valley might have the best defense in state history. They only give up 5 points a game, for the whole season. They lost to Olathe North 20-6, since that game they've won 5, including 4 playoff games by a combined score of 274-3.

Mhs is 6a, undefeated. I’d say that makes them the best in state. Maize does have a good offense but their defense gave up more points in a single game to derby than mhs did in the two wins they had over them.

Maize won at Derby though, Manhattan got them at home, twice. Agree with wetwillie that it would be a great game to watch.

The first Manhattan win over derby was at derby but yeah it would be a fun game to watch.

Oh cool. More construction on kimball near college.  :dubious:

In the video, it actually says there is no access from where the work will take place to Kimball, and the City of MHK will be building a new access road connecting College and Denison further north.

Yeah I’m listening to it now. My strong preference would be for all that to just remain open unused space space/farm land. But it at least sounds like they won’t have to tear up kimball again for two years if they do build more stuff.

After listening to the entire pretty boring and over one hour long video, I have changed tunes and am somewhat good with all this new crap as long they hold on into the open space with food trucks part of the plan. V dubious about that though. Seems like something you would put in the plan to get people on board with it and then pull it to put in something more boring and revenue generating.

Fun team to watch. Tighten up the rotation a bit when conf play comes along and it could (should?) be a middle of the packish group.
