There are plenty of smart ppl outside of the Ivy Leagues. Like that one judge who went to (ugh) the U. of Texas. I'd like to see the SC have a less geographically insulated grouping of perspectives on the bench.

I'm not on the right, but probably. And excuse me if I don't lay myself prostrate across someone's feet because they went to Harvard/Princeton/whatever. Don't fall for the equivalent of Beems' "KU's ratings are SO much better than KSU, we're ONE HUNDRED TIMES A BETTER SCHOOL THAN YOU" bullshit. There are plenty of qualified ppl west of the Mississippi.
