Not content to simply make that point, however, he also made his stance clear on quarterback Colin Kaepernick who -- for all intents and purposes -- led the charge as it relates to using the Anthem to bring awareness to inequality in America. Kaepernick remains unemployed despite being open to playing backup.
One thing is now certain, and that's he'll never suit up in the Metroplex.
"I'm not interested in him as a quarterback with the Cowboys," said Jones firmly, via Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News.
Kaepernick has a right to protest. NFL owners have the the right to employee who they want. Everyone who thinks Kaepernick is entitled to a job in the NFL because he is a protesting black man should blow it out their wazooo.
