It was a pleasure meeting MIR. Thanks for the tiks! That was my nephew's first kstate game. It's sad it had to be this game though.

Have you two ever met before?

Of course, we're fatty fest trivia champs
But a moment came where one of you could not address the other in a public setting. Or was not bothered to.

I'll throw down the gauntlet now. Next fattyfest, the SdK/Canary squad will own you all.

Or you know you only see each other every other year and are not expecting to see someone, while only have 4 seconds to judge.

Sounds less like a team and more like a stacked deck.

Here's a thought I hadn't considered until today: really, none of our QBs are all that good. :dunno:

If you’re honest with yourself, we haven’t had a good qb since Freeman. There have been a few like Klein and Waters that did what was asked of them, but they weren’t good qb’s.

Give me a freaking break. Just because he wasn't a pro doesn't mean Klein wasn't a great college QB. Big  12 offensive player of the year and Heisman runner up. That's more than "doing what was asked of him".

was waters better than any qb we currently have? it's hard to judge performances without a lockett equivalent for ertz/delton/sky

He was a good runner. Does that make him a good qb? Meh.

He got you. He comes on great every Saturday, says something outrageous that isn't directly related to the game, waitress for a reply, disappears for another week.

I? disappear for a week because this board sucks.

It’s not outrageous to say that we haven’t had a good qb since Freeman. Klein was a good football player but he wasn’t a qb.

What I'm really disappointed in is the WR corps.  I thought this was supposed to be a strength of this team coming in into 2017, but they have largely disappointed across the board.

Every receiver (except Gruntley as far as I know) seems to suffer the fatal disease of Burtonitis.  Way too many drops that I could even count.  Pringle's dropping everything, and he's probably playing hurt. Heath seems to be just non-existent at all.  Strickland appears to be non-existent at all either, and this guy is what, 6'5"?

klein was both a good qb and a good football player. knowing every aspect of the system is part of being a qb and klein was a coach on the field. he didn't throw a tight spiral, had a weird release, wasn't cannon-armed. no, he was not nfl qb material. however, he was a good college qb and the guy played his ass off and did everything asked of him.

I’m gonna say WVU has a better D than Tech.

But I’m just pissed that Sky couldn’t hit Dimel 30 yards down the field 7 or 8 times.

Oh, DW got stopped on a couple of plays, welp back to the bench and forgotten.

Klein was a phenomenal athlete, acting like his success was entirely based on his playbook knowledge is pretty racist.
