Whether anyone thinks passouts are good or bad is debatable, what's not debatable is coming back late or people not coming back at all in the numbers they currently do is something that has been a much bigger thing the last five years and it's getting more prevalent.

We’ve been on a relative decline over the last 5 years, also attendance at sporting events over almost all leagues and sports has been on decline over the last 5 years. Also instead of relatively improved WiFi signal there has been nothing K-State has done to incentivized attendance or keep attendees in or coming back in.

Problem with staying in at halftime is the band doesn't do it for me and I'm impatient. Parking lot is way more fun and like 'stone said, it's the easiest place on earth for college students to slay.

I have gone to the concourse for the sole reason of not having to hear the band announcer's voice & inflection.

K-State has sold out for football home games 38 straight.

Also, I think the Wi-Fi is pretty good.

That's just it, the athletic department must think that eliminating pass outs will reduce attendance, I'm not sure that's the case, especially if they sell beer and wine. The concession stands on the west side at halftime are barren, we can walk up and only have to stand in line for five minutes. We are just getting hammered on concession revenue by continuing to allow these things and not selling alcohol.

The WiFi is a 7/10.

I think if you sold Beer and wine in the stadium and eliminated pass outs you would eventually see far more net positives than negatives after the tailgate superstars quit crying.

Lol at equating someone wanting to crush a beer at halftime with friends and family as blackout specialist. Tailgating has always been a big part of the experience. Just because some of you are getting old and forgot how much fun it was to be a student and now you're all tucking away. Even when I'm in the suite I go inside and watch other games on their TV's. There's nothing inside at halftime that's exciting anyone.

1. I'm not criticising tailgaters, I'm criticizing a ridiculous university policy.
2. When I was in college I didn't go back out at halftime, pre and post game was plenty of time to kick it, I went to games to watch games.
3. You and dugout are too old for the "I do it because it was fun when I was in college" argument. There's a whole lot of stuff we don't do that we did a decade or two ago.

That wasn't a direct shot at you. You've been a loyal season ticket holder for a long time with a family. My fam probably gets to catch 2-3 games a year and my bro has to drive up from Louisiana. Which means he buys his tickets way too early in advance and is afraid Mrs wacky's fam won't come through. So sometimes we get separated during game time, because we're in different sections. We're there for the cats, but a family and friends gathering as well.

And you’d still be able to meet at the Tallgrass vendor in the south end zone and have a couple 8-Bits with your family and friends at half time. Which comes back to what I think MIR and I have been saying: it would be a net positive if they sold Beer and wine in the stadium and stopped the pass out rules.

i don't think we'll see in stadium beer sales anytime soon because they don't want a bunch of drunk idiots spilling beer on little kids, which i don't blame them #family.  are they missing out on a lot of revenue, obviously.  i think they're perfectly fine with selling out the games and then calling it a day from there.  if the oklahoma game was a 5-1 or 6-0 Cats team, there would have been more people in at the start of the 2nd half, so again, i don't think it's a big deal

3 things that we did that should still happen:

you sneak a bottle in if its that big of an issue to have a drink
you sit back if you sit at all during timeouts, halftime, ect (the people that try to go down a step and sit forward need to learn this)
crowd surfing (what has happened to that?)

I typically lose wifi in the NEZ seats, but I can get enough LTE signal that it's not a huge problem.

Many of the schools that allow beer sales in the stadium have reported a decrease in alcohol related incidents. The belief is that it curbs binge drinking.
