We need to upgrade hitting at either DH or RF.  If we keep aoki, we should ditch Billy

A lot of people are acting like Billy and Nori are the 25th best option at their position, which seems strange to me.

i listened to a podcast about free agent right fielders and now realize is that aoki is the best option available.  did anyone know aoki has the exact same amount of war as melky over the last three years?  but would be way cheaper.

kemp would be a really stupid trade unless you gave up nothing and got something really good to come with.  he's making 20 million plus per year.

We have World Series scratch now sys.   Rumblings glass is going 100+ on the payroll this year.

Its kind of ridiculous to project a 2018 lineup using all players currently within the Royals organization.

Also ridiculous to project Moose in the lineup, but not playing third

the thought of signing a 30 year old pitcher to a $120 million deal makes me want to get sick.

KC Lester would be amazing.

he isn't worth the money.  he allowed 8 hits and 6 runs in the wildcard game and i think i've made it very clear how i feel about pitchers who suck when it matters most and he'll likely get progressively worse throughout the deal.  if we outbid large market teams for him that is not a good sign imo.

I want Lester if after the signing everyone is saying wow, I thought he'd get more than that. If we're paying "market value" or higher I'd rather try for Tomas and go all in on the young pitchers

... so, if a Royals "Super fan" by the name of Sung Woo Lee can get a World Series ticket, then why can't a born & raised in KC Royals life long fan by the name of her husband can't?? Something isn't right here...

fanman is not alone i guess

I ran into this person today. Asked "Hey, did your husband end up making it to a WS game?" She said "He got offered a ticket for $200 to game 6 and turned it down."

So the life long Royals fan bitching about Sung Woo had a ticket for basically below face to a WS game 6 in KC for the 1st time in his lifetime, and turned it down. My word.

The fact that Aoki has the same war as melky, is more of an indictment on war than it is a reflection of who's a better outfielder
