these pics are making me sad :frown:

I am already sad.  For him and all the other players that aren't playing for injuries.   For the senior WR that injured his foot to end his career.   For the LB that had another concussion and now has to give up football.   Etc., etc. etc.

This promising season went to hell with all the injuries and FCS teams aren't as deep as FBS teams to start with.

Good luck to the Wildcats Saturday.

I feel bad for you, but mostly for my sweet Daniel.

Update:   Daniel has been practicing and wants to play this weekend bad even with an injured hand.

I don't know what he will be able to do with the hand but it will be interesting to see what the coaching staff comes up with.

Okay, I'll bore you guys with another update while you wait for Thursday to get here.

Daniel made an attempt to play with his injured thumb.   They had practiced him at WR for the game.   He ran a few routes but didn't catch a pass.   He took one snap at QB on a running play and tried to tuck the ball with his left hand, fumbled it, but recovered it for a one yard loss.   He did run one end around play that the timing was a little off for a 1 yard gain.

And to top things off, Bolfing hurt his knee in the second half so we were down to our 3rd string QB along with all the other guys out for injuries.   I don't think we have enough horses left to even beat Lamar in our last home (and season) game.

The highlight of my photos for this game was visiting the Team Sam Tailgate (Aaron Sam's family and friends) and finding Daniel Sam's family and friends tailgating with the Team Sam group.   I've got Daniel's mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother in the photos below.  All good people.

Good luck Thursday night.  I'll be watching.

Checking in.

Football season over.   Team couldn't overcome all the injuries.  Promising season went down the drain.   No playoffs this year.    :-(

Also the replay officials hate us.   We did not win one replay all season.

Good luck against Kansas.   Watching the K-State games has been one of the few highlights of my football season this year.

A couple of Daniel photos from the Lamar game.

Blessed to have you Doc.  Or was Daniel the blessing that brought you to us?  And does it really matter?  Tough to say.  Go cats either way.  Did you know I'm a sommelier?  Sorry for being gay.  Time to hit the hay.

I'm back!!!

They had the first scrimmage in the middle of the day when I was working so I missed it.    They had the second scrimmage this past weekend at 9:30 AM so I was able to take a photos.   Daniel had surgery on his hand again after last season.   He is just getting back into throwing form.

A few Daniel photos from the scrimmage.

Dan's facial hair is sparse, and as a consequence quite gross looking.  Should definitely 86 that crap.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.
