How many plates? I'm guessing at least 3 on each side.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

In all seriousness... Couldn't believe I did it. Wasn't really looking to max out yesterday, just got in a groove and kept adding weight. Would like to get up to two plates by the end of the summer.

What would that be, double your body weight?

Yea no doubt, seeing a 112 lb guy throw up 225 would be a :sdeek: moment for me.

If you can do that you're the mayor of swolieville. If fact, you can have the whole thread.

Driving on I70 yesterday I saw a big rig truck driver doing curls out his window with a 5lb dumbbell.

i did this thing where you are in the pushup position and you have like 10 or 20 LB (weight doesn't matter) dumbbells in each hand (it's best if they are not round ones, obv), and you do a pushup and then a rowing motion with one arm and then do another pushup and do the other arm rowing motion. it works like every muscle in your body and feels great

I'm not usually one to set limitations for myself, but I can assure you that this will never happen. 150% is well within range though, and that's what I'm going for.

That's a great mental picture. I hope he was smoking a cigarette.

I'd like to think that he is training for an arm wrestling competition...

Old trainer had me do this on the down side of a burpie then take the weight up for an OH press at the top of the burbie.

Benching double your body weight is a very impressive feat, especially when you consider just how much your Bench Press correlates to your body weight. The fact that I weighed just shy of 250 when I could bench three plates really killed the satisfaction of hitting three plates.

So what are some good stretches/exercises to rehab a hip?  I was playing basketball a few days ago and blocked a shot at the top of the square and when I came down I tweaked my hip. It's been bugging me ever since and I went up for a dunk today and barely made it, so it's affecting me quite a bit. TIA.
