Might as well end it now instead of endure the apocalypse in the next few days  :goodbyecruelworld:

If it happens, find your way to John Dougie's.  His crisis garden should be plenty for us all.

heh, crisis garden

TOTAL SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS...ICE ACCUMULATIONS UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE BY MONDAY EVENING. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY LATE TUESDAY NIGHT
BITTERLY COLD ARCTIC AIR ALSO OVERSPREADING THE AREA...WIND CHILL INDICES OF 15 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW ZERO CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED TUESDAY NIGHT.

Hopefully I can't make it to work  :excited:

to everyone planning on offing yourself please leave your  body in an area where snow/ice can encapsulate it.  that way those of us who choose to survive can have human steaks and burritos in the post snowpocalypse world.  If we don't get to eat you, your remains will be great study for alien archeologist.

but he hasn't closed school for the other storms?? I'm guessing the ice was the reason this morning...but will it snow enough to cancel it the rest though?

Noaa is saying a lot of snow..

but the local meteo's are saying less than that for MHK..so i dunno what to think now.

it will be the wind and snow combo. Windchills -20 to -25 and 4 to 5 foot snow drifts will force them to close.

I hope none you need bread, because I am willing to bet all of the weirdos have already bought it all from the store.  Just saw the latest deathstorm update and it said KC area is the epicenter of potentially the biggest storm of the year.  The epicenter!!!!!

I was out and about getting groceries last night.  There was plenty of bread but not a banana to be found.  I repeat... the bananas were GONE... No  :pbj: anywhere.  There was also a run on yogurt, green peppers, and brussel sprouts.
