Let's talk about Kendrick Lamar. I listened to the newest album because I had never (knowingly) heard any of his songs but people are always talking about him. Anyway, most of the album is slow trash, but DNA, humble, and the middle third of xxx are really really good. Please provide me more good songs like those, I like to play rap during the summer.

I've never met anyone that had decent music interests that was a fan.

King Kunta if you're just looking at Kendrick

If you want to branch out more check out Kamaiyah. Most of her songs are good for the summer.

You know mocats tell me your mood thread?  I don't know 90+ percent of those folks.  Music isn't a thing for me really.

I've always said that if I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, I'd choose the killers.  What a library of great/good songs!

I don't care for The Man very much.  A little too Day-and-Age-Disco-era killers for my taste.  The other single (I forget the name) is great though.  Very "Runaways" esque.

I know I'll probably be ridiculed for being ridiculously uncool, but I'm enjoying the heck out of the neo-80's pop/alternative sound of the last few years

GOD. is fantastic and if you don't like that, I dunno. He was in this interesting super group before he was Kendrick, called "Black Hippy." Enjoy this song I link; it's the most lit song of all-time. I'd also rec "Poe Man's Dreams." That song is about trying to make it so your dad can quit his 9-5 blue collar job and your uncle can get out of prison. It's pretty great. It's on "Section 80" which is his first mix tape. Worth a listen.
