If you touch them and get your scent on them their mother will reject them and kick them out of the pack or whatever a bunch of baby bunnies is called.
A fluffle.

just leave them alone.  rabbit mothers know what they're doing.

Mowing today and the grass was kinda moving. Found these little SOBs (sons of bunnies). Now I have an unmowed circle in the middle of my yard. One made a break for it and made it to the fence before giving up.

they're old enough that they can move around.  they're probably nearby.

And on the HOA page I’m always team coyote when everyone starts complaining about them eating their tiny little dogs.

Also update, the one that took off is now huddled down outside the nest. Took lil sd down to check it out. Hopefully the mom one puts him back in there with the others or whatever they do.

you can tuck it in yourself if you like.  that stuff about not getting your smell on them is bullshit.

their blood will be on your hands if old man coyote gets them.  how can you pretend to husband your land without the partnership of a good dog?

Those bunnies will probably manage to reproduce a couple of times before the coyote kills them all.

I accidentally mowed over a baby bunny house like the one sd just showed us once. I felt horrible for a week. bunny blood and half lopped of baby bunny domes everywhere.  :frown:

on the plus side I saw two real live river otters doing amazing river otter stuff in their natural habitat (a river) last weekend. one got a pretty decent sized fish and started eating it!

serious anecdote about minnesota raccoon: i read about him yesterday and was hoping he made it to the roof.  really glad he made it, i bet he must have been hyped when he got to the top

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
