Here’s my recipe
1 - Intentionally buy more bananas than we will eat
2 - Let a few get really brown
3 - Say “Hey mrs tdaver, we should do something with these bananas”
4 - Come home to fresh banana bread the next day

Have tried lots of different varieties, but her standard has blueberries and a little lemon zest.  No nuts.

i bet it is tbh, never had it though i imagine it is loaded with strings.  the strings are probably the only component of the banana that can withstand the oven temperatures required to bake a loaf of bread lmao

It’s the only way to go.  Separates the banana bread pros from the amateurs.

i stand with clams on banana bread (which isn't even a bread, obviously.  it's either a cake or a giant pan muffin).  but not on carrot cake, which isn't great but isn't bad.
